Wow! I love this map. Think of it as two mirrors divided by a diagonal line that reflect one another. Simply amazing. I may experiment to see how the game plays when increasingly higher values are assigned to the 2x2 bonus squares as you move inward from the edge of the map.

It is hard to see the center squares, because all the "other side" connections have attacking arrows that pass through the center. This is especially cumbersome when you have an AI ally.

i think it should not have the territories connecting on the other side of the map, i liked it though.

Then you should play Matma's grid map, this map is all about those connections. That's why it was named "Whirlpool", it drags you from one side to the other and twists your mind!
