Description

My Second Map

It's another map of France, but not on the same theme as the other one (which was about school vacation zones). This one shows the population by department (in 2019). The more you move towards the red, the more populated the department is, and the more armies you'll earn. There's also a small map to indicate bonuses. Region bonuses are set to 0 by default, but you can always change their value to use them and change the way you play.

Enjoy the game, and see you soon on the next map !

I really like the idea and the map, however my only complaint would be that it can get a little time consuming to keep having to check the value of the different bonuses, but the side map is good and for anyone with a little more patience it would work perfectly. Maybe the territory colors could be the same as the side map colors, to show the bonus values? As in a red territory would actually be red on the main map.

You've come up with a good idea for a map here, and while I think with the correct overridden bonus value, a good template could exist for this map, I feel like it has some balancing issues. Firstly, it's the +2s. Ile de France is a very powerful part of the map, while the centre of the map is very much to avoid.

Another thing that I would recommend is to change the colour scheme to use blue for the negatives instead of green to help people with red-green colour-blindness tell the key apart better.
