The conceptualization is a little different where no territory is worth more than another and there are a number of buffer states with no value. The trick appears to be to obtain clusters of the 1 value areas then move to the next. It also is decidedly long in game play for the number of territories available. Probably not in my top list, but with some uniqueness.

I enjoy how much importance is put into the oceans. While they might not give you any bonuses, they give access to so much land that you would easily lose without them. It feels more realistic. I would however enjoy if there was maybe some kind of continent bonus. Other than that it is great!

I felt it was a rather good map. The oceans meant that the game was still challenging even towards the endgame, since enemies could use them to flank me.

An adequate map for multi-player diplomacy or for a casual game. However, the map can be quite confusing in regards to seas and territories bordering each other, as connections are vague in several spots.

The first 20 times played, I did very poorl, even though I tried several strategies. Finally, I found one that has worked 3 times in a row. My last victory took 19 turns.
I find the game fascinating and challenging.

How are you supposed to beat this map when your three AI opponents start off with three extra guys plus their commanders, when all you get to start with is just your commander? Plus, all of these ocean territories make it literally impossible to defend anything, especially when you're being teamed up on by all of your opponents. Lame....

A unique take on the standard world map. The seas and oceans are split into individual sections like land. This makes it easy to sabotage the enemy and makes you vulnerable to ambush. This map is much harder to win considering how the enemy's commander can easily escape via sea.

Not my favorite map. The three AIs are located in prime real estate added an extra layer of difficulty. Don't rush to kill the commanders on this map. Instead, taking as many countries as you can. Eventually I got to 94 reinforcements and it was game over for the AIs.
