Broken connections abound - to the point where exploiting them becomes a viable strategy.
It is difficult to tell how various islands connect to one another.
Balance is completely lacking. Not do the value of territories and bonus ratios vary wildly, but many of the bonuses are non-contiguous - and frequently there appears no good reason why they should be.
