The Great War has finally come to a close. An uneasy peace encompasses Europe - for the most part, for now - for the forseeable future. In Russia, the Revolution has spread, and the White Army has been sufficiently destroyed. The Czechoslovak Legion has been obliterated, the Tsar is dead, and Russia is practically, utterly, completely, in the hands of the Bolsheviks. German socialists have risen in Berlin, as Rosa Luxemburg and her allies storm the Reichstag. French revolutionaries have stormed Paris and many other northern French cities, as anti-Monarchist protests erupt in Britain. Army mutinies plague all those militaristic nations of Europe, especially those who won the Great War. |
