Please like this level if you agree with the message

While I understand that this is also a storytelling medium, it should also be a challenge, so that there is actual thought involved instead of just pressing buttons. I appreciate efforts towards creating a story, and I have tried to do similar things myself. But I don't think many people want to play levels where the path to victory is obvious yet it still takes a long time to get there.

For instance, if there is a level where you play as France invading Britain, it reduces the appeal when France is able to win without even thinking, just by advancing vastly numerically superior forces north. Give opponents a chance to resist; make the player have to fight for victory. But if it is a level like that, perhaps because it is a prelude to a greater story, don't make it tedious and have the player take about 20 turns to actually reach victory.

I'm not trying to start a fight with anyone; I just think we will all get more enjoyment if we commit to making more engaging levels.
