Your success in taking over the train routes of the Netherlands has sent shock waves throughout the old crime families of Europe, who control routes throughout the continent. You weren't expected to survive. Now that you've proven them wrong, they're sharpening their knives. One of those families, though, has decided to join with you. Not only do you gain control of their routes, you also get their spy's info on your adversaries. You also find out that at least half of the trade routes aren't under anyone's control.
