While our old lands are now back under our control, we still do not have enough land. More importantly, our oil supply is heavily reliant on imports from the Middle East. If we are to maintain our power while being able to keep up our expansion, we need to secure the oil for ourselves to ensure it can't be withheld from us by an embargo.
