This is an alternate version of the Cyprus War. The game takes place directly after the known events of the Cyprus war, which ended in 1974 with a UN DMZ. It can be assumed that, in this game, the conflict never ended, and you are continuing it. War! Following a controversial referendum on Cyprus, which allowed only Greek Cypriots to vote, and resulted in Greek secession, Greece declared Cyprus under its control. It's neighbour Turkey, however, has a different perspective. Turkey, militarily and economically more powerful than Greece, attempts to take control of the Hellenic Republic of Cyprus for itself. Already, Northern Cyprus has fallen. Can you, as Greece, retake your island claim?
