November-December 1941, Cyrenaica - Libya, Polish Independent Carpathian Rifle Brigade (and other Allied soldiers) We have been sitting in Tobruk for some time. The Allies plan to break the German-Italian siege and drive Rommel's troops out of the region. It will not be easy considering that we are fighting in the sandbox and Rommel is a smart fox. It's so hot in here and terrifyingly empty in places. I miss Poland. |
