After the victory of the Spanish Socialist Party in the elections held on 10 November against the strong opposition of the right and with the impossibility of forming a stable government, the Socialist Party and other left-wing confluences decided to stage a coup d'état in Spain, causing the right-wing parties to rise up in the provinces with the most votes and also the nationalist parties wishing to gain independence from Spain. Will the Spanish Republic win from the hand of the PSOE, or will the Kingdom of Spain win from the hand of the right, or will the nationalists win by pursuing their ultimate goal of independence? |
