Alternate Europe -Map used because I'm level 17.- This war started when the occupied territory of Northern France declared independence as the Netherlands - a declaration supported by the British. Greater Portugal backed Britain and Protestant Rhinelanders backed the Netherlands too. In response, the Warsaw States declared war in assistance of the struggling Catholic armies there. The Russian Empire took this as an opportunity to conquer the Warsaw States. The Ottoman Empire expressed support for Russia, but this turned Balkan states against it. The Balkan States were already fighting Northern Italy (who was trying to take Southern Italy) and so the war begun. In this timeline, the outcome of the war was the collapse of the Warsaw States and Franco-Iberia, with The Netherlands occupying all of what is now Benelux. Catholicism in the Rhineland was all but removed in a major victory for the newly Independent State. You will be playing as the Kingdom of Greater Portugal. I plan to split this into more levels.
