When a player clicks the Change Mods button when creating a Warzone game, they will be shown all mods that are both Public and Promoted (in addition to their own mods, of course.)

Mods can be set as public or non-public by mod authors in the Mod Development Console. Simply click Edit next to the mod and check or un-check the Public box.

Mods can only be set as Promoted by an administrator. If you make a high-quality mod and feel it deserves to be promoted, please follow these steps:

  1. Test it thoroughly in both single player and multi-player games. Recruit other players to help test and give you feedback to ensure it works and is free of bugs.
  2. Ensure the way to use it and its affects are well documented and easy to understand, either in ModDescription and/or in the game creation UI.
  3. Check the "public" box
  4. Send Fizzer a description of the mod, the mod ID (viewable when clicking Edit), and a link to a multi-player game played with the mod.
  5. Once it's promoted, check the "reports" section every once in a while to ensure any errors with the mod are fixed.
