I apologize for the land reform, a project, generations of peasants dreamed of and unsuccessfully fought for;
I apologize to the workers, which got the impression of dignity by the communists;
I apologize for the nationalization of industrial enterprises;
I apologize that millions of sons and daughters of the peasants and workers families have risen their social status;
I apologize that the young people from peasant and working-class families had free access to higher education;
I apologize that two generations of polish citizens grow up without the burden of unemployment and lived in social security, without any worry about the future of their children;
I apologize for the conclusion of illiteracy;
I apologize that there were neither hundreds of thousands homeless in Poland roads nor beggars;
I apologize for thousands of libraries, affordable books, culture houses in urban and rural areas;
I apologize to the scientists, actors, creators that they, thanks to the socialist political system, accomplished scientific and cultural achievements of international standing;
I apologize that professionals of distinction and outstanding superintendent have grown;
I apologize for the reconstruction of towns and villages, that have been destroyed during the occupation of the nazis and for the reconstruction of Warsaw and Gdansk;
I apologize for the reconstruction of countless churches, castles and other cultural monuments that have been destroyed during the war;
I apologize in front of the already third generation of Poles who have become established on the Oder and Neisse and live within secure borders [...] "
