^ Of course. I mean, the cricket rivalry itself intersects with the rest. BCCI refuses to have Indian teams play in Pakistan because of terrorism. But it's a good example of a very, very hostile rivalry, even when it's uneven (like in the 2015 World Cup).

Hey. I rooted for Afghanistan and Scotland. I'd be pretty damn happy if they became Test-playing nations, and I (like most cricket fans I know) hate ICC for how they're keeping the sport from expanding and instead making teams like Ireland work ten times as hard as their FIFA counterparts.

I know Timi would be in 1v1 and RT if he joined right now. We'd have close to 20 in the top 15 on those ladders if all where joined right now (with no additional games played to influence rating).


But you do have bragging rights after winning the clan league and defending.

I think he's talking about across all major ladders- 1v1 and real-time. (Seasonal and 2v2 excluded because of their strategically questionable nature, I presume)

Apex does not attempts to deliberately beat other clans, nor desperately strive to prove why we are the 
best clan, most members mercifully avoid the ladders. Therefore, we do not have any real rivals.

Jokes aside, is "clan rivalries" a new name for "clan drama"? That's how it feels based on this thread so far. Or are there any based on actual games? These are more fun actually. Always remember 14-3!

Turtle - I don't think apex is overrated, they deserve to be at the top. I am just saying other clans are on par with them IMO. Look at what GG has done on the ladders and they were right there in clan league.

So you are correct...we only have 16 people on top 15 rated teams. But, we do have 22 'people' if I expended out to the top 20 rated.

At any rate, that is pretty darn good. Not sure another clan can match that (maybe GG, Masters or Lynx can, not sure).

We've totally eclipsed people that we no longer need records to prove it. Just look at how awesome our icon looks. Also no other clan tag includes a dot in it. We definitely win.

Umm. No. We don't really care about the falcs right now, all this drama is pretty much one sided. They ae very seldomly mentioned in our forums/mail threads, think the last time they were actually mentioned was several months ago, and it was specifically Colonel, not the falcons as a whole.

I don't really know why this "rivalry" is so well-known even though one of the sides juts ignores the other :p

Its because the wolves hijacked the Falcon clan.

If M'Hunters had a rival I think it would be Illuminati even though they aren't exactly the same.

@Nikolai: M'Hunters and Illuminati do seem to occupy the same niche of "large strategic clan."

@knyte Not really. Illuminati is all about lvl combat which is boring and lonely imo. In the M'Hunters we play as a team and we are much more social. So Illuminati imo tries to get lone wolf loners and the M'Hunters try to get team players.

The counter agreement is that you don't have to worry about teammates getting booted or teammates not paying attention to advice. In lvl it is a lot more direct and you determine your own destiny and not the team as a whole.

tldr: The Illuminati and M'Hunters appeal to different people and aren't competing over any players.

@Nikolai: that's true, but I don't think all players have a decided choice between the two. And given dead piggy's advocacy of EU 3v3, I don't think Illuminati is as 1v1 focused as they claim to be.
