This is why I think a MD ladder in which each turn is timed (5 minutes per turn) would be a cool idea. You have three days to take your turn. But once you click "Start," you have only five minutes to view the last turn, view history, and make your moves. If you can't do that in 5 minutes, you are booted and lose.
Currently, MD games are multiday thinking for some players and RT thinking for others. If I take my turn or make picks in 5 minutes and you do it in 3 days after analyzing and reanalyzing the board, does this make you better?

I am in the same boat
Ok, not same, only similar, because Gui has a battleship and mine is only a drifter (but what a drifter!) :P
But yes, most of the time I have only few minutes to play Warlight (or I have but simple lazy to think deep :P ) so I am suck when I spend 5 mins/turns while my opponents more in a MD game. And I cannot play on RT ladder neither because very rare when I have long enough time to play even 1 game...
So Gui's idea would be perfect for me too (anyway not 100% perfect, because if somebody wants, still can analyze the game from screenshots :O )
But back to the topic, I think if I would have more time to play Warlight and I wouldn't be so lazy to think, and if I would play always in a focused way, and I would be higher a bit and my eyes would be more browner, well, then I am sure I would be the best Warlight player ever :P
