Old + New. I don't see what is wrong with that. Some people will play both. More will play the old.

If the "trend" (a euphemism for sure) of "no-luck" (more like "less fun, less strategy") settings catches on (for bean counters), maybe the new one would someday become more popular. But that day is not now.

Before we even start thinking of changing the ladder again. I think we should create a whole new poll to see who wants the ladder to be luck free or not that is shown not only in the forumns but also in the dashboard so many player can see the poll, me personally i say keep the new but its up to the community.

A big problem i can see here: many players don't even know what the difference between straight round or weighted round is. The meaning of luck factors isn't clear for everybody too. So if we vote on a poll, we have to explain first what the options are. Having a poll on the community page or the forum would be enough to see what the community wants. By putting polls on the dashboard the results will be flawed by newbies.

so letting just a small portion of the population vote is the best way to see what the community wants?! Doesn't sound like we're 2015. I say let everyone who can play on the ladder vote (if we're gonna vote), but hiding the poll for the majority of the players is a horrible idea.

That said, you've done a very good job in showing the demand for the old template. :)
