Clan: IlluminatiI've been in this clan since July, and a LOT has happened inside it since then
- Forbidden Knowledge was the leader when I initially got in, but then he "forgot" his password and has remained "inactive" since. The managers as they are called are Great Expanse (sorry mate, I get you two mixed up :P, my reading was shite) and Stormers, who have stabilized the clan since FK's disappearance and kicked out all alt accounts in the clan to ensure everyone stays active.
- The ranking system (Students, Elites etc.) still exists, albeit with a few changes such as the inclusion of Professionals which closes up the small gap between becoming a Student or an Elite. The reason why this was changed was because the managers and others thought that the definition of the said Student (or other) didn't hold a significant meaning to the players actual skill-level.
- The clan has an internal Promotion/Relegation League similar to the one which can be found on the General WL forums. It is in it's third season (hasn't started yet), and it is very similar to the other one (in it's 17th season) in that it is played on the Strat 1v1 template, but new clan members are auto-joined to the lowest group by management.
- The clan forum is unfortunately rarely used, but to make up for this there are Clan chats in which everyone in the clan is placed on one team, and a random player from another clan is placed on the other. These games apparently take very long to finish if everyone joined.
- Recently, exclusive inter-clan tournaments have been made, such as two double-elimination Strat 1v1 tournaments, two round robin Strat 1v1 tournaments and a China 2v2 tournament. I see these as good ways to improve my skill and to improve my team-play and 1v1 gameplay.
- Members in this clan are very friendly
Overall, Illuminati is a clan which holds true to it's biography. While it is not as large as M'Hunters, it is still a decent sized clan with active players that teaches (not exclusively, though) 1v1 combat. It appears as though statistics doesn't play a part in entering this clan, I'd say that probably just about anybody could get in as long as they have a good grasp of the actual "strategy", as the clan calls it. The players inside it are pretty good and will help you with just about anything concerning 1v1 or team game-play.
