So I'm just traipsing through the forums and I come across this guy from a clan I previously paid little if any attention to called 'AOE'. The player commented on a thread with a completely different topic saying that AOE is a diplo clan with a "government and senate" which members can join and be a part of... basically the exact same as the Wolves, Vitrix, the Falcons and a few others.
What I want to ask this clan's leadership is: why??
When there are so many clans doing exactly the same thing, it becomes boring. Do something completely unique.
What's wrong with VM, TLW or TRF that you have to go and create your own new clone?
The Falcons are more democratic.
The Wolves are a bigger community.
Vitrix has a good reputation and is relatively stable.
So why?
If you'd have asked me, I'd have invited you to the Falcons or contacted my friends in the Wolves or VM abd asked them to invite you...
So why ANOTHER diplo/rp clan?

Please, please: don't copy us... Use your bloody imagination and come up with something new.

Calm it. It's not like you "invented" these bad fake-hierarchy systems. VM and Wolves are hardly similar to that sort of clan-government type by now, anyway.

Because people like to do their own thing. It wont be identical. You need to chill. This is like saying "Why would you make a new 1v1 clan, there are already a lot" or even "Why would you make ANY new clan, there are already a lot" so shut your jealous mouth and bugger off.

Come to think of it AOE have been around for at least a month if not more there not that new. I mean there even in the RP clan league.

The answer is often: because they want to be in a clan with their own friends doing their own thing and not in someone elses clan. Bigger question is why does it bug you so much. Its not affecting you in the slightest, so let them have their own fun.

AOE was led by a Wolf member named "The Conservative" who helped it get some members while he was there, I guess he just copied our government system in his way.

the main difference between AOE and the Falcons is their origin stories and their themes. Also AOE actually does stuff.

Weird newsflash, they were around for almost 2 months now and already caused some drama. :p Also they were very actively recruiting some time ago, idk if they still are.

AOE Was founded as an Rp Diplomacy Clan That Wanted fairness for all its members because as with most clans....the new and little guys get little attention ( that I have seen with most big clans ). Colonel....it seems the all basis of your argument is " we don't need any more Diplomacy Clans, Go home "? what does it matter? its just a clan and quite frankly a pretty good one in activity ( at least when I was there ). I remember when I was leading it I would have a lot of older Warlight members mock me for letting in " noobs " and I would just laugh in their faces because it just showed their arrogance and over self worth. AOE accepted anyone who wanted a friendly clan with nice people. the only people we would not allow in our clan were known pe's like Sun God. yes, if we were a power hungry competitive clan we would want only the best players in our clan however we are not that. AOE is just a community based off anyone who wants to join. and I clearly did not copy The Wolves Or the Falcons ( I am not a falcon fan ). First of all, AOE had both proctors and a senate. I didt want to create a million branchs of government so I kept it simple. the proctors were given certain duties like recruiting Etc and the senate were a group of active players who helped me govern. it was the most effective government I have ever seen on Warlight. we got done in days what it took The wolves or Falcons months of arguing to do. I gave my leadership to a trusted friend who I believed could run the government well because 1 I am at heart a wolf 2 I new the clan could never grow as long as it had the " your leader is a former wolf therefor you are their bitches " sign over their heads. in ending, me and a few friends accomplished something really good and awesome that new and old clans would be wise to follow after.....which is being a nice friendly clan who respects and pays attention to all its members. while people may mock that clan...I firmly believe that one day...most clans will adopt and follow that same form of government and that same philosophy. now I could be wrong....but I am willing to bet I am not. and to answer Colonels qus....no...fair representing and accepting good people never gets boring to me....and it should not to you

even though they are a clan of contradictions and humorous ironies AOE seems like a nice enough community.

I don't exactly agree with the whole "democratic government" system, but AOE seems like a nice place. Much nicer than Colonel for sure :D

Colonels post was outrageous and uncalled for. AOE has been nothing but friendly to all clans and all players yet Assholes like Colonel have the nerve to stand on his dam high horse and say hes better. people in that clan are nice, caring, friendly people who deserve better then this. if i remember correctly also colonel led the royal entente ( it might have been the royal empire ) and it made no progress whatsoever and yet hes telling AOE they are not good at clan government when they made a sharp rise in the clan standing and by far surpassed his old clan which he led! i find that really funny indedd
