There could be fewer accounts than people.
That's impossible.*
- People create an account for themselves, so 1 person = 1 account.
- People multi-account (aka have alts), like Death. For example, 1 person = >=1 account.
To make it algebraic:
xp = xa
and
xp => a
Based on
xp = xa:
(x/x)p = a
x/x = a/p
x = a/p
For example:
p=2, a=2
(x/x)*2 = 2
x/x = 2/2
x = 1 This means for every player, there is one account.
Based on
xp => a:
x => a/p
For example:
a=5, p=2
x => 5/2
x => 2.5
because it's an odd number...
P1 = player one, P2 = player two
round up x: 3. So, P1 = 3. This means P1 has 3 accounts.
round down x: 2. So P2 = 2. This means P2 has 2 accounts.

isn't account sharing.</small>
