Here's the deal, I love the ladder but do think it is in need of an injection of talent. This thread is really a call out to the uber-talented non-members like Heyhuihei, Gnomia, etc to fork over the $30 and join. If any talented player is debating on getting a membership already, here's a little bit of incentive:

I have committed to buying someone a membership out of sheer good will, but only one. Here's the rub, I'm not just giving it away. Any player who wants to can challenge me to a best of seven series of strategic 1 vs 1 matches. Should this person win 4 before I do, then I will pay for their membership immediately Should I beat them, however, they will have to immediately buy one for themselves. This will be an open and extending challenge until someone is successful. In addition, I will play one person and one game at a time. If there is multiple challengers then I will begin with who I deem to be the most worthy. There is obviously an honor code here which is why sketchy characters or players with unrealistic chances will not be taken seriously.

Good luck to anyone who wants the challenge.

Is this the real Denzy? his friend? I'm confused now? But the retirement scares me. If you care to explain adequately which Denzy I'll be playing and why you retired in the first place then providing that you answer to my satisfaction, you can be first. You are definitely a worthy competitor but, in the advent I lose, I don't want to shell out $30 to someone who is going to quit playing in a month.

Nope, my friend sucks in 1v1's. He never manages to play it properly.
If I become member I won't leave WL for sure. And it seems that I have no other variant after responding to your challenge: get it from your or by it for myself.
So yeap, I'm real and ready to continue my WL career.

Okay, its settled. I'll create the first game now and let you see the distribution, but my moves begin tonight/tomorrow. I have yet to start my essay today and its hit the time where I thought it would be well on its way to being finished, lol.

Sealed, Gnomia and Im glad its you. I have extra motivation now to beat Denzy. Unfortunately he may be off to a one zip lead. Still lots and lots of play to be had though.

Eagle, I did not include the ladder. I'm using strategic 1 v 1 as it currently stands. Funny enough I just drew Denzy in the strategic 1 v 1 tournament that was created a few weeks ago. To be clear and fair before it starts, this will NOT count in the best of 7.

yeah, interesting stats for joining 3 months ago..none the less it'd be fun to see you in the ladder if you can afford it. Make sure to be on the lookout to get into a tournament to try and win a membership
