Interestingly enough as per Impaller's prediction, Blue won the first game. Ruthless as well called a Blue 4-3 victory, following a 3-3 tie :). This is indeed the exact scenario so I ask you this: Are Impaller and Ruthless modern day prophets? Are Warlight matches predetermined?

For those who think getting the first pick is a huge deal, for most maps I disagree as was the case here. Me and Gnomia had the identical picks 1 - 3 and it resulted in me having a clear advantage. It is not often I pick West China as a fourth pick but I'm sure glad I did.

If congratulations is given please direct it to both of us. It was a hell of a series and proves that Gnomia, as will Denzy, will both be forces to reckon with in the ladder. Top 15, your places are soon to become far less secure.

To answer your question Waya I was very confident that he would be in India so I liked the option of taking Tibet if I felt the need. In addition, I wanted him to possibly have Caucuses so that taking Xinjiang would ruin two starting picks, giving him only West Russia to shoot for.

Looking at it again, however, it would have made just as much sense if not more to take Caucuses. You're right, having the option to go the other way quickly, once breaking one potential bonus would have been nice, especially with the blockade card now in play.

Well it's been four days and still no word from Myhandisonfire. Here's what I will do. Heyheuhei can take his place in the queue, making him next on the list. This should not penalize anybody in the queue since they all retain their spots. I think this is fair as this is series that many want to have happen. Are his talents superior to mine? From what I have seen I am convinced that they are. Fortunately there is always the luck factor :D
