Hello, I am the King of the Clan The Royal Empire. We have been around for some time now and some of you might recognize our last leader, Lundy. We are in a rebuilding faze right now and are looking for any new members. We accept anyone who is at least level ten, has played in at least ten games, and has a low boot rate. What can somebody get out of Royal Empire that they can't get anywhere else? This ad does not state any differentiation that puts you ahead of the pack.

Yeah... there are like 30 active diplo/RP clans right now. You really need to differentiate from all other clans if you want people to join.

We offer FFA training, team game training, 1v1 training, and diplomacy/role playing training to all members that want it. We are also the only clan that I know of that is a mix between Britain and the Roman Republic. We are also one of the easiest diplomacy/RP clans to get into as our requirements are not that hard to meet. We are great towards newer members of WarLight that have started playing but want to maximize their potential.

I agree with the others, those really aren't things that all the other RP clans don't do. CORP gets people because of it's dual member system. Falcons and Lost Wolves are just old standards. Other clans are just notably full of good players. USSR is good for clan stability and unobtrusive public actions. It sounds like your clan is just another random RP spew.

In my opinion, older warlight clans and players to blinded by there current power ( size, reputation, members etc. ) and they underestimate newer clans by a lot. When I took charge of AOE, I was mocked by most leaders and players. Yet, I built AOE up to a respectable position. When I left, the same people said it would crumble because I did not leave it in a good position. The person I left AOE too has surpassed what I did!. Same with Auara, a lot of people thought he was basically a ten pot dictator yet he has wisely grown and ruled his clan and has kindly listened to all suggestions given to him. I am not saying that we should all bow down to new clans and name them as the heirs to the major warlight clans, however you must remember that one way or another it will one of these new clans that surpasses Wolf, CORP, DARKLORDS and the rest and then one day someone else will do it to them. So just remember next time you put down one of the smaller clans as obsolete, you could be speaking to the people that will one day bring about your clans downfall and mine

The fact that some clans are new isn't bad at all. New clans are good, in my opinion.

However, if a clan is going to be new, they have to bring something new to the table. A person has to be able to think "Hey, I want to join Royal Empire because [X]!" or "EIC is really cool. You should join them because they have [Y] that Tom Dick and Harry's clans don't have!"

True, in my opinion new clans are always a good thing

I would agree with you, but you put Darklords on your top list. THey're only at the top because they spam invite, and they shouldn't be up there.

I was using size as one of the ways of measuring power so of course the DARLORDS are on that list. Does it mean I like them? no. Does it mean I think they are a good clan? no. does it mean they are the most powerful clan when it comes to size? yes

please define "powerful"? lol what power does Darklordio exert exactly?

Power in WL goes mostly into activity, numbers, and friendly members. CORP is powerful in both numbers and friendly members. Wolves are for there activity, and DRAKLORDS purely because they are big

yes but my question is what does the power translate to exactly? in the real world for example a judge would have the power to pass a sentence, a teacher has the power to discipline you, a company has the power to merge with another company, etc etc.

so if as you say CORP, TLW, and Darklords apparently have a bunch of power. what does that translate to? what exactly can those clans do to me with their almighty power? what control do they have over warlight? the answer to those questions is none my friend.
