You're literally hindering the growth of your own clan for some sort of unexplained reasons. You have standards as big as some elite clans, but your clan's name is the poon squad.
I've got to be honest, their clan is elite to an extent.
By elite, I don't mean the standards WG / Master etc. definition of elite. It's not based on skill. It's based on how much the guys there want you in the clan, and how active you are.
Poon Squad are contenders, along with Lost Wolves, Icelandic Turtles, and a couple of others, for being one of the most active clans on WarLight, and for good reason. The settings that they play with, mean that the players they attract are the ones with very low boot rates, very fast playing speed, and lots of games. Not necessarily high win rates, good ladder performances, etc. but they will reject people if they don't play by their rules.
To compare:
A traditional elite clan will accept you if you meet all of their criteria (Take WG's criteria as the best example of this). This generally means ladder performances, general skill, and how much the community of the clan like you, even.
Poon Squad will accept you provided you are extremely active, like and play their settings, have their sense of humour, and abide by their tier / jury system (which can lead to removal, further supporting the concept of "elite")
So no, PS aren't looking for the best 40 WarLight players. They're looking for the best 40 players that would fit their community.
