UK politics needs electoral reform (less than US, but more than some other Western Countries). The first past the post system is horrendous. I would love to see proportional allocation by autonomous region. So if SNP wins 90% of the vote in Scotland, they get 90% of Scottish seats. If UKIP wins 20% of the vote in England, they get 20% of English seats.
Instead what you have happen is UKIP gets 12.6% in the 2015 Election (a 9.5% increase by the way from 2010) and only gets 1 frickin seat. This system hurts left-wing and "right-wing" (UKIP is not that right wing compared to Front National, Fidesz, LDPR, Golden Dawn, etc) parties. This system is just plain unfair. The Liberal Democrats only won 7.9% of the vote in the 2015 election (a 15.2% decrease from 2010) and still manage to get 8 seats!!!
