Republican, Socialist, or Classical Liberal...decisions,decisions....

I'll sign with the Republicans I suppose. But if you want the parties to be more balanced in membership I'm willing to join one of the other two I named above.

I prefer most Republicans over most Democrats.

Really? By presidential candidates - they're worse - by normal folk - they're generally less taught, more closed-minded, and fanatic (no offence to conserves, but that is a real corelation). I think it's 35% Republicans in America think Obama is a Muslim?

The Classical liberal party is staunchly capitalist and absolutely pro free-market, as well as opposed to Economic Interventionism.

And Integrity Group USA actually speaks the truth.

We are for a small government that gives only a few agreed-upon rights for everyone, and not more.

We guarantee the integrity and sanctity of your life and stuff.

I'm not listing the tea party as a separate thing (they practically got eaten by the republicans right from the start, and even you're going along with that).

Compared to the college liberals who throw protests, try to censor speech, and petition to have their college administration fired because somebody "offensive" was allowed to speak? The people who say they feel "Unsafe" and "Threatened" whenever exposed to a non-liberal point of view?

I think both sides have an equal share of close-minded idiots.

Both sides have dumb folk in them, for sure, but it's not the same proportion. Are liberalists stopping men and women going to the same higher schools? Or forcing the curriculum to teach that earthquakes happen when God is sad, or that (mind you, this is in America) God made man?

the feminism is so insane as of late that even mentioning anything that sounds remotely against women can get you suspended from work.

It really seems like the conserves are trying to build mythic foes so they can straw-man them. Sure, there are these few extremists, but I've never seen one, and I've been to lefter Fryslân, which is so liberal it has hearts on its flag.

Well, you can't really say that, I checked, it's about the same proportion each teaching level.

Please give one example where this is the case. Most Conservatives understand the science of earthquakes now days, Xapy. The main focus of the religious conservatives you're referring to is teaching the younger generations to stay Christian, sexually and emotionally pure, etc. Not that lighting is God getting angry.

Do you even know what creationism is?

This link was not for creationism, but for students thinking earthquakes are brought about by sinfulness.

every creationist I've ever met does not think hurricanes are due to anger anymore

You live in America, which is pretty well-off in the international scale. But there are conserves elsewhere, in poorer sites. About 3/4 Muslims are conservative and 1/3 wants Islamic theologic law for everyone/for Muslims (but to kill converting Muslims). That's way too high.

It's going to be hilarious when the Socialists are the center-left and the Democrats end up actually supporting worker control of the means of production.

Interesting idea, I would join but I'm not American. Its curious, even though we have a lot of young people debating, we have a fair share of conservatives on this site.

Жұқтыру, Teamguns and Angry koala are the only liberals I've actually 'argued' with, and the latter 2 are known imbeciles, in that order. Eklipse is one of the best ddbaters around, Darth Darth is decent as well, Genghis I don't often see in action. I think it would be a walkover at this rate.

If you start a libertarian party with GeneralPE at the helm, and Жұқтыру representing the democrat party or something with similar values, I think that could go to an interesting 3 way head-off. Of course there are possibly other good players with good arguments.

What definition of socialism is the socialist?

Supporting the policies of Bernie Sanders, Jeremy Corbyn, and typical far left semi-libertarian policies.

Typically for:

- Government funded
  • Health care
  • Education
  • Universities / college

- Major industries controlled by the workers, such as steel, oil, transport, and these industries are nationalised.
- Raising taxes for the 1% and companies
- Lowering taxes for the poor and middle class
- People receiving benefits / welfare (how and when obviously defined by individual candidates)
- A more accepting society (e.g. closing the gender pay gap, defending equal rights, etc.)
- Pro-choice policies
- Taking in more refugees

Typically against:

- Intervention in foreign wars unless it's a necessity
- Torture
- More immigration control

I got a bit specific and pretty much any of that can be altered but they are typical socialist stances, based off of modern social-democrat candidates in the UK and USA (Corbyn and Bernie)

Not all those points are typical socialist stances, those are left wing stances that just so happen to be embraced by semi-'socialists' like Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn.
