But seriously, Tsunami, I think you should learn a bit more about strategic game-play (as you're only new and it's what you prefer) before you seek out any clans to join. Send me a PM and I can invite you to a few 1v1 matches so I can try to help you progress as a player, although you can ask others for 1v1 games too. Once you become more experienced you should come back to this thread and join a clan that suits you.

Asides from joining clans to improve your game-play, there are also leagues that you can join to improve your strategic game-play. Here are two good leagues:
You can join the Small Earth P/R League run by huddyj (https://www.warlight.net/Forum/142469-small-earth-promotionrelegation-league-season-5), that's helpful because if you ever play coin games the template used in this league is based off the coin settings for Small Earth.
You can join the Promotion Regelation League run by Pushover (https://www.warlight.net/Forum/130085-promotionrelegation-league-season-18). This is a league based off the Old 1v1 Ladder settings and a lot of players play it, and they may be willing to give answers to questions if asked. Although you might have run out of time to join it, but ask Pushover anyway, he may let you in.

Ryzys has a good point @Tsunami - you should probbly spend a bit of time and get up to speed with at least some of the basics first, it will make it much easier for clans to accept you if you have an improved baseline of skill. It might also demonstrate an ability to improve, and commitment such that they should bother teaching you in the first place. If you join any outside things like ladders and the like, make sure you try to do some practice games beforehand, so you can at least get your toes wet in the new template.

As far as I know, he's not unliked; he's pretty chill anyway. But some people just like to play the two personalities, or maybe he's introverted, or maybe he doesn't want his own clanmates to notice this. I don't know, really.
