"One could argue that's what I'm doing. Hating works up the chain. Now all the riff raff mediocre players are taking shots at me." - Billy earlier this thread
While the elite players are more polite, I don't remember any of them supporting you either. You just ignored them or changed what they said I think. I might also point out that you started taking shots first. :p

Billy Walsh, your recent behaviour on Warlight constitutes unacceptable online conduct and abuse, as defined in Warlight's Terms of Service.
As such, you are in violation of Warlight's Terms of Service. Cease further attempts to smear Buns' reputation unless you can provide sufficient evidence to support your accusations. If you do not, I will publicly smear your reputation by bringing forth the evidence that proves you are guilty of harassment and defamation, and I will build the strongest possible case to ensure your account is suspended or terminated in accordance with Warlight's Terms of Service. The difference of course, is that I will actually have sufficient evidence, and I will be telling the truth.

Is the rating system fair? The passionate opinions here suggest it's an important question.
Let's look at average opponent ratings for the past 5 wins and the past 5 losses for two players.
player A (rating: 2307) average opponent rating: in wins: 2054 (2074, 2121, 2097, 1963, 2013) in losses: 2162 (2105, 2179, 2265, 2212, 2047)
player B (rating: 2047) average opponent rating: in wins: 1853 (1901, 1764, 1833, 1984, 1787) in losses: 1956 (2058, 1927, 2048, 1771, 1977)
In this sample player A beat opponents with a higher average rating than the ones that beat player B, which are higher than the ones player B beat. This is consistent with the higher rating the system assigned to player A.
