MGSB, I respect you as a player, but your political views are naive at best. Someone will always vie for power. It is in human nature. Infant mortality rates have dropped due to modern medicine (possible only with government, without it the "nerds" and considered physically weak would be wiped out by those who deem themselves physically superior. It has already been argued, but removing human institutions cannot remove human nature. Someone will establish dominance, and that in itself may be some government. Think of the phone/tablet/computer you play on now. Government allowed for stability across its domains, which allowed for development and transport of you electronic device. If it weren't government, you couldn't even post your idiotic rants on this forum.

I wasn't in threat of gunshots, in what could be argued the most authoritarian country in the world. Police brutality is colossal, and so is common crime. China shut down its embassy in Somalia 1991-2014, while China has had an embassy in Eritrea since independence in 1993.

Well yes X, that's the point, authoritarianism and statism can have effects that lower life length too. Particularly, soldiers shooting you if you try the country.

What? Heck no, governments do this (killing smart folk) too. Look at Pol Pot, or Athens, killing smart folk because they were able to threaten the government.
Think of the phone/tablet/computer you play on now. Government allowed for stability across its domains, which allowed for development and transport of you electronic device
Folk who work for companies around the world contributed to making this phone, governments did little in the production of this. They didn't transport it either, and since piracy doesn't existed in the pacific for the most part, they didn't protect it, and if they did hypothetically, there is no reason a private company couldn't do so.

Syria: A country torn apart by civil war, between four factions which are not anarchist and all vying to rule over the area. No anarchy here.
Eritrea: A police state that kills folk for trying to leave.
Somalia: Pretty good compared to the other countries. Especially before statists invaded in 2006.

Major, all states where goverment collapsed are in Civil Wars now. Anarchism only works in small structures, like tribes, villages or families, but not in states of millions of people.

A civil war is where several governments fight to control a geographic area, it is not anarchic. Especially when no groups in the civil war are anarchic. (You don't even have a Makhno in Syria, come on.)

It improved living conditions in Somalia, but was stopped in 2006 by statist invasions. It worked in Medieval Iceland and the European Free States too. Several Native American tribes had anarchism too (not despotic tribalism or monarchical tribalism.)

In small communities it sometimes works, but not in a world with 7 billion individuals.

There's no basis for this, no reason why it cannot work globally. Just saying it's too big doesn't make sense.

in order for people to cooperate with each other u need to be a tight nit group
u need to recognize that other ppl are humans and shit
your brain can only process about a 100 or so people. anything beyond that and organizations/groups are less efficient and even cease to fail
its why small startups are more effective then big corporations
ppl will cease to cooperate once dunbar's number has been crossed

Yes, let's take ideas on how to build a good government from Pol Pot, Mao Zedong, Josef Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and 1930's militarist Japan. You use confirmation bias by ignoring successful governments and make examples of some of the most evil people in history and put them forward as examples of what government does. How about when the U.S. sent aid to Haiti after he earthquake? Large scale humanitarian aid is not possible without government.
Also, the truck or whatever that hauled your phone to a local store would likely have been robbed or ambushed by people in a lawless land.

You don't need to have a good social bond with someone to cooperate, you cooperate everyday with folk you don't know. You ask them for directions, you exchange goods and currency with them, and provide services for them.
