Alright, let's see what the strongest and most important countries of the 20th hundredyear have done with their power.

America: Entered WW1 because Germany wasn't having any of their shit when they were sending arms to Britain, started WW2 with it's start of tariff wars, and has held the world in a permanent state of potential nuclear war since 1945. Killed twenty to fifty million from 1945 to present.
Germany: Entered WW1 because it wouldn't shut Austria up, got Britain and France to enter the war, and is responsible for millions of deaths in that war. Started WW2 by invading Poland, and committed genocide. After WW2, it's actions are less independent and it was relegated to being a puppet of the US.
Britain: Entered WW1 instead of trying to mediate peace, colonized vast portions of the world while killing millions, started a manmade famine to punish Indians for not paying taxes that killed three million. Can't really be blamed as much for WW2, but it bombed civilian centers badly. After WW2, it helped the US do it's badness.
Russia: Entered WW1, when it could have stopped it, so it is responsible for millions killed. Went communist, and ended up killing millions, gave Germany economic support before Barbarossa that kept it from collapsing, and didn't prepare for Barbarossa (which was pretty obvious.) It and the US kept the world at the brink of nuclear war till now, where it still continues. Also killed millions in the Cold War.

Aren't these the countries most others look to emulate?
