Well I was mostly poking fun at AI.

For those who don't know the context, AI was one of the early members of CORP, with an account named Niklas Reißmann; if that sounds familiar, it's because that's the account he returned to and cheated on the 1v1 ladder with. He was a pretty prominent member, CORP's top strat player right until around when Ox took over, and pretty active and competitive in the clan. A short while after I left the clan, Niklas quietly went inactive and became unable to compete in Clan League 7 (not a big issue), and CORP quietly kept his account around for a lot longer than usual out of respect.

Except it turned out he wasn't inactive. Right before the whole ladder cheating happened, someone found out that Niklas had just silently left his account and clan behind, created a new one, and joined M'Hunters. I'm not going to lie- it felt like a little bit of a betrayal, just leaving CORP behind like that with a false pretense of inactivity- and after that point CORP kicked him out and some people (including me) lost a lot of respect for him. Of course, it didn't help when he was caught cheating on the ladder (or when a couple of M'Hunters members downplayed ladder cheating- although I certainly hope they weren't representative of the clan as a whole and don't fault the clan for any of the bad apples they've got).

Afaik, the "AI is Niklas" thing was mostly known within CORP and didn't really spread outside until I brought up the ladder thing.

Hence my insinuation that AI is just being salty by ranking CORP behind Hydra (and ignorant by ranking VS behind M'H, Hydra, and CORP) because it was CORP members who noticed and brought up the ladder shenanigans.

EDIT: And I wouldn't be surprised if he rates Hydra above us. I still think that while I think we have the edge, out of pure bias. However, Hydra have a very legit chance to come ranked 3rd (about 50/50 with us) and with some luck, 2nd. They aren't out of it in any way.

I left CORP on my own some weeks after creating the AI Account, but before the ladder thing. They didn't kick me...

@AI I doubt most people would have an issue with you ranking your clan first - if you were much nicer about it, instead of getting all defensive and rubbing it into everyone's faces at what seems to be every opportunity. You don't have a contractual obligation to be nicer about it of course, but but being a d*** to other people does tend to hamper your reputation even further after cheating... :P


Again the price for the dumbest post in this thread goes to... of course Hysterical Koala. I mean, who else would be capable to produce this kind of nonsense? "Every opportunity" here is AI making one single post ranking his clan first, in a thread aimed at ranking clans for the clan league. We just point out that MH is TBest. (We hype ourselves, not calling others bad, see the difference?) I really hope your tomorrow is better then your today, Knyte, because you must have had an awful day.

I am sorry that some MH'players have persenal conflicts with other players here, but that don't mean you (looking at both sides) have to post a comment to talk someone down.

'Cause they're quiet. M'H and Hydra are pretty noticeable, CORP a little bit less so outside the ladder and their weak showing on WGL. VS is just quiet af outside their own community and ladder encounters, tho.

Or VS is ignoring the world ;) I mean, I honestly don't know them. Hence I placed them in the middle. They probably belong over CORP in a prediction tbh, since CORP is a wildcard, while VS is more even players. But then I only know 3 of VS players (in their lineup) None of them bad, non fantastic. So I presumed that the players I recognized were the best players they had (too lazy to check ofc) and that the rest was mediocre. Aka 4th seemed like a fair prediction.

I suppose it never crossed your mind that you could be significantly underrating MH? OFC noone knows for sure the relative skills of a clan, but you are not always right Knyte, MH is a sound clan.
