Wow! All but 3 people have predicted MASTERS to win it! 2 of those 3 predictions put them in 2nd behind apex while the other prediction places them behind Apex, GG, and WG! This will be a very crazy season!

Top 3 will outshine the bottom 4. But all will be a brawl. Any of these teams have shots at beating any of their opponents but my predictions reflect my opinion of the results. 4-7 is most likely to change I think. And the only reason I put Icelandic Turtles over GG is because of GG's Great Lakes team. I don't think having all the Chou's players in one tournament is a good decision but that's my opinion and I'll look forward to playing them!

Its going to be a close one, but I think Masters will win it. Their line-up is goddamn scary. Apex has a small team, but everybody has enough skill to put them in the race for first place. 3 to 6 could be any team tbh. None of those teams really looks better than another. Only WG seems a bit weaker than the rest.

Division A will be fun but masters all but have it in the bag (unless something serious happens to several key memebers). GG should manage to takes second and are all around at a height of strenght. Apex finish a respectable third, inactive old stars will cost them but players such as timi, Chris and Kenny should hit hard. French are a secluded clan so it's hard to rank them however in such a tight division Qi disappearance should be the difference between 4th and a podium spot. Icelandic Turtles should stay put in divison A and I expect them to do even better in CL9. WG and lynx are great but I'm not sure they are great enought.

ONE shouldn't have too much trouble promoting and if they dont take 1st it will be a big surprise. 101st vs Blitz will be nice to see but I know plats been pushing them hard. On the other hand the Blitz camp seems to be a little more hectic with the lose of motaki and gustave AWOL.

4-7 I'm not sure about.
4 - Lost almosttricky recently, however haven't checked to see who he is playing for yet
5 - REGL from an outsiderview remind me of WLighters, strong oldtimers :p
6 - VIW strange and made by flyingbender.... alright a gap of my knowledge here.

First off what a group! A is competitive for 2-7 B Is competitive for 2-3 but who knows who will take first in C four clans have the potential to imo. This is going to be extremely close! I've played around with order between 1-4 for a while but I guess I've got to choose.

1 - M Hunters are an odd clan but strength it team games should show. I'm less sure off there 1v1 skills also Farah left so that'll hurt em a little.

2 - Hydra afaik they are balanced between team and 1v1 skills. They've had enought time to settle from there relatively recent fusion and should pack a punch

3 - CORP team games will let them down to much imo for promotion but it's hard to say till it starts.

4 - At fourth I'm clearly underestimating VS..... (this is one messed up divison)

5- BIA the predominantly MD tournament clan. Drumming maniac is good as well as tartan something other than that I don't know many of them.

6 - LEA >>> Majority of skilled players when to ACME (how come did thet occur?)

Don't wanna put a damper on your prediction, but in CL7 {Olympus} maxxed out Hades and had him in every tournament where they had better-than-even results. Unless Cerberus, Poseidonas, and Phobos play incredibly well (not even sure if they're on the roster), these guys won't be able to easily beat TJC.

How can smileyleg compete for TJC if he is in WG?

There are many different players who are playing for their old clans in this clan league. Short list of what i've seen so far.

Tony Soldano (AwesomeGuy) in lynx, playing for VIW
smileyleg in WG, playing for TJC
almosttricky in WG, playing for SNinja
Master Turtle in Masters, playing for Turtles
Beren in ONE, playing for apex


This is just a list from just looking over the spreadsheet, might be able to find more if you are watching in lower clans as well.
AG and Turtle might not be the best examples but this just shows how loose the rules are considering participating for clans you might not even have an account in any more

Hmmm.... I dont think I like this rule, tbh.

Of course CL lasts for some month in that many players going to leave clans or/and join other clans.
But that is something else, somehow.

... I think I have to accept this rule anyway :/

I immediately removed Farah from our roster as he left (he was willing to play). We don't depend on anyone and I replaced him with guys having a higher ladder peak. Also one of our guys is competing for ONE! after I had problems finding a 1v1 tournament for him. Since the league isn't about the clan average but the top I have quite some respect for Ying Yang. (Jhk, QI,...)

There are probably more people doing that, for example I am playing as Firenze for NWO since it was my old clan.

TLW has Zephyrum (CORP) playing for us as Terre and Onoma94 (also CORP) playing for us as Ackbar90. 3/5 of our best players are actually alts of people with mains in CORP.

@Norman... Replacing Farah with a higher level ladder peak player? but but but it's not possible to cheat on a tourney ;)

@styxie, yeah i don't think AI has an alt in another team; but you can't be sure.

should be 1 man 1 position...i always find alts a bit pathetic to be honest...especially in something which is supposed to be an honest contest
