Remember the big deal about North Carolina's transgender bathroom law? Well I'm pissed so deal with the rant. Now to begin with, I have mixed feelings about the actual law. I was molested as a child so I feel sympathy with the parents who are afraid of cross dressers going into women's bathrooms and molesting. Now, data shows the vast majority ( Like roughly 80% ) of molestation happens with someone you know, not randomly in bathrooms. It's also unlikely because public restrooms are visited so often that a molester wouldn't take the chance of getting caught. However, the law would definitely open up the opportunity. I'm still not sure, but I don't think I probably agree with NCs law but my heart goes out to the conservative side of the issue.



Why am I hopping mad? Because I just found out that Paypal ( I think it was them ) will no longer be doing business in NC because of the law. ARE YOU MOTHERFUCKING CRAZY??? So let me get this straight, this uber liberal jackass of a company thinks its morally below them to do business with people who have a legitimate reason to not allow transgender bathrooms, but have no fucking problem with doing business in Saudi Arabia and Qatar where being gay or transgender is punishable by death???!. I'm sorry, I have long been a supporter of the official democrat platform on social issues but it's just too bad that a lot of people and organizations do the exact opposite of what they support.


And also, the law in NC only applies to State owned restrooms. But of course the uneducated masses of intelligence inept idiots who jump on this stuff never give a damn as long as the meme was cool, do they?

well actually one of the more interesting things about this issue is that while it does open such possibilities, odds are unlikely that they will actually create any new issues. Rather, the companies that are making such actions are trying to issue statements to the state gov'ts, but their actions actually mostly impact the Left-leaning cities more so than the right-wing groups of people that support the law that live in the rural parts of the state. Basically idiots all around these laws, those that are taking radical measures to oppose them, and those writing them, as both groups fail to actually understand the impacts of their actions.

my main complaint, is that people complain about the possibility of rapists.. like child molesters couldn't of been dressing up like girls and walking into the womens restroom to rape children for the past hundred years..
the threat isn't any greater whether anti/pro-trans laws pass or not, and using it as an argument is illogical.
legit the only thing that prevented rape/molestation in bathrooms is the possiblity of getting caught from someone else walking in, and the possibility of them making noise and being noticed by someone outside.. the same exact things keeping people safe now post anti/pro-trans laws.

about paypal.. companies make their stands where it is most visible.. paypal could of been refusing business in saudi-arabia for the past 30 years and no one would of cared or noticed. now that NC is openly making a stand about the issue, paypal is openly opposing them.
also doesn't help that many Americans are mostly ignorant of the outside world.

I feel like since transgenders "feel" like the other sex, and sometimes don't have sex changes, they could get away with it.
