I would never use the brush technique concerning views if it wasn't close to true. Ox, your boldness on this issue is striking considering you have no fucking clue on what the atmosphere of the issue is in America. I don't go around debating issues that are Scottish unless it's philosophical, otherwise, I steer clear because guess what? I don't have a clue on jackshit of Scottish politics or what the people want, need, or believe. I'm not the only one on this site who sees the wisdom in not judging a people or country that we have no clue on. Notice how when I talk of foreign nationals I only judge results from the government, not social issues or people's stances on social issues. It's smart not to judge the opinions of over 300 hundred people you have never lived with, so I strongly suggest to Ox that he think that over.


Oh and btw, media, articles, and blogs don't give a real sense of a nations stance. Come here to America , then tell me if my statement was a blanket.

The Taliban won because they could outlast the UK in the region while blasting away billions of dollars with hundreds of them. Also, it was more Pakistan's doing in creating the Taliban, not really the UK's doing.

Smedly, I thought your stance was that American and Soviet Imperialism created the Taliban by forcing unjust polices, both international and domestic, upon them?. If true, Pakistan wouldn't have as big of a role as the Superpowers of the west?

Pakistan was supported by the US and still is, but it was instrumental in doing the job there. The UK had less of a role there though.
