I also agree that it would be better not to make up games. I'm one of the players benefiting from the rule, being able to remake some games because my partner disappeared; but it would be a lot simpler if there were no remakes for anyone period.
This. There's no real price of admission or prize for clan league, so there's nothing being lost, other than bragging rights, when a boot forces a game's result prematurely. I don't see why super complex systems over retirement and inactivity, with a couple exploitable flaws over it, are necessary.
Way too much value being given to games you can get in and out of completely freely with no actual reward, to the point of overriding probably the only true rule of WarLight, that is the boot timer. Sure, not always it's a person's fault he couldn't play, and sometimes people just aren't in the mood to play, but when there's zero consequence to losing due to a boot, then why is it so necessary to go through all the effort and potential fatal flaws only to re-do a game?
If the need to prove yourself better does exist, just challenge your target to a friendly 1v1 unattached to CL or anything of the kind for that matter.
