i've had a few people with girls avatars and names, who chatted like they were women (lots of smileys, calling me sweetie etc). i've always assumed they were guys acting like girls but it's possible they were women.

No. Mostly because I don't really care about picking up females on Warlight.

Yeah there are girls on here but many are not on the forum and are playing the game.

In my experience, girls are more likely to be playing social-related, action or most any type of game that isn't strategy really. By social-related, that's just a fancy word for Team based essentially.

I've played with many girls in CSGO, CoD, Dota 2, some rpg stuff and i guess on even Mmo stuff like world of tanks.

But civ 5 multiplayer is devoid of the specimen.

If i had to make a conclusion, it's just that girls tend to be more interested in more faster-paced genre I'd assume. But i think it's far more likely that there's simply less girl gamers in strategy genre and that's all there is to it, and that when it comes to games men/women have no built-in omniscient preferences.

The game I played before this, very similar but much simpler, had a lot of girls. The games were all 5+ players at once, free for all. Girls were good at it because they could manipulate people in chat or get people to soft play vs them etc.

I made an alt of a fat black woman and people were not so nice to her lol...
