If a player is assigned to play on a template, he/she must be able to create a game on that template(i.e, unlock all features of that template). This is a restriction of using CLOTs. If this affects you significantly, feel free to UserVoice a feature request to remove this restriction.

Just another question. I have found this. Does it mean if in CL9 we have a Template with a Commander. It can only be played by a player who can create a game with this Feature? Example: he has a high enough Level?

Game with commanders can be only created by player with a bought membership, so yeah only those would get CL games with commanders.
Actually, this is why there won't be any template with commanders in CL9.

Okay, I don't know the exact restriction to get which feature.
Take as an example any restriction which is done by level.
I also don't know how far the CLOT is and if it is still planned to use it.

Imo it should be a "major deal-breaker" if the CLOT can make lowlevel players play any feature of any template.
Same as:

This CLOT depends on a feature which should be made available in Fizzer's next update. If that feature is not added, the CLOT cannot support vacations(which is a major deal-breaker).

We'll avoid any template which requires features which are member only.

We've had a test run of a fake clan league. It works. There maybe hidden bugs due to some edge cases, but we'll figure them out as the season goes by and address them to the best of our ability. The CLOT does respect vacations, as Fizzer implemented a feature we were depending on :)

No. A player must be able to create a game by themselves on the template(i.e, unlock all features used on that template including the map itself). So, clans will have to watch out for this and accordingly choose their line-ups. We'll post the minimum level requirements for each template(If others can help us determine this, that would be much appreciated)

To Let's Fight, I talked to Master of the Dead and volunteered to go through the level restriction issue. As you pointed the game features aren't the issue as you simply need to be over level 45 for overridden bonuses as the last game feature relevant to Clan League templates.

Maps have a variable unlocking requirements, most being low enough but some being up at level 52, just as one example for Greece. As players are quite high level now, this largely isn't an issue for the majority of clan and players but those newer clans this might be an issue.

From what I can tell, the minimum required level to play a template will be considered when the list of templates are trimmed down. But as always I defer MotD and Beren when speaking about CL rules.

Ah okay. So our Greece contender of cl8 (currently lvl 50) couldnt contend on Greece in cl9.
That's harsh.

2 more stupid question from me:
Why actually does the contender needs to be able to create the game, if the clotbot creates the game?
In a teamgame: is it sufficient if one is able to create the game or is it necessary that all players of the Team are able to?

This is a restriction imposed by Fizzer. No way around that for now.

No. Every member of the team should be able to create the game. I realize that this is a harsh requirement, but the clot is necessary if the Clan League is to scale.

Hopefully, everyone plans ahead and the players have leveled up to be eligible for the template they wish to play. You can always help each other out if it's just a matter of 3-4 levels as that shouldn't take too long.

My turn for a stupid question.

If no one in your clan is lvl 50, are they not allowed to be in CL because no one can play greece map, or do you just lose every game you would play on greece map.

I think in worst case you lose the games of Greece. You are allowed to participate in CL9.
Could be also you Start with a play X with Level 52 and this Guy goes inactive after 2 games and you don't have another 50+ Level Player in your roster.
