BIA's 2v2 China team of Botanator and ViralGoat defeated the VIW team of Carlos Danger and AWOL Gls AJ. BIA was predicted to relegate by most of the voters so they must be glad that they can prove everyone wrong.

Knowing fully well the background and meaning of this quote, I can confidently say it's not appropriate to this context.

These are predictions, assumingly representative for the engaged Warlight public and as such a give a presumingly correct idea about what the Warlight public thinks. These results are not meant to convince anyone, prove a point or otherwise manipulate any demographic group.
Likewise, these results were reported in the most straightforward and unbiased way while taking great pains to highlighting every relevant aspect of them.

No votes for first?!?! WTH?!?!? Oh well, I guess considering we backdoored our way into "B" it's forgivable..... We're just happy to have been nominated *sniff-sniff* ;-)

I can't remember if MathWolf asked for it or not, but it would be interesting to see the clans of the voters.

I can check at home. I do remember no clan had more than 7 members voting. I might do an analysis to check if clans ranked themselves higher. This is relatively complicated due to the small sample size per clan, but can be done with a random effects model. I'm not sure if such analysis would have much power.

We were 3rd in CL 8. Only the top 2, VS and MHunters were automatically promoted. A team above us in ranking either dropped out or disbanded and as we were next in the bullpen we got the call up.

It came down to the last game for either you or Hydra to score 3rd and thus getting a possible promotion with another clan dropping out.

It's not a surprise that they got those important points from China 2v2.
BIA guys are playing very well on that template and are giving us hard times.

Three games finish this week as Group B continues to chug along. 2v2 China seems to have the fastest players in the division!

BIA has picked up their second win on 2v2 China to storm into an unexpected first position. Botanator and ViralGoat secure a win against 90 and AI. For a clan favored to go down, they have gotten off to a cracking start!

GG defeat VIW on 2v2 Final Earth. Mifran and EZPickens beat AIRNewbie and MoOoOoO to pick up their first win of the season and get GG underway.

VIW(Carlos Danger and AWOL Gls AJ) pick up their first win as well by beating SNinja(Tulan and Timtimie) to steady the ship after a poor start by VIW.
