Ummm two things. 1. When a team mate surrenders and goes AI it is not reflected in the players column on the right.
2. If you could make the tabs in the chat different colors or different colors for the initial chat tabs. I find it forgetful the check who I am talking to and screw up big time.

Does the "1" thing happen for you every time, or just occasionally? I've tried this myself but it doesn't happen for me. For me, it just puts a 1 into the text box and the dialog does not close.
Players turned into AI are shown as a different color. If you hover over their name, it will say that they're an AI.
Colored chat tabs is something I plan on looking into when I do the UI overhaul.

I can't post a pic just yet, but on iOS (maybe on android too, idk) a game with a bunch of unused cards has them trail off screen. I understand you can tap them and it brings up a window. Just a visual thing.
Also, when held vertically (like ALL phone games should be played,) it is impossible to read chat.

I plan to improve the chat situation in portrait mode when we do the UI overhaul.
Regarding the cards going off-screen: Can you email me a screenshot and also tell me the type of device? Do you feel like everything in the app is too big? Dan sent me screenshots and I feel like the UI scale might be defaulting too high. You can adjust it down in the Settings menu. When you email me, can you also tell me what the UI Scale defaulted to?

I raised the UI scale on iOS to the max for giggles and it's way too much lol, buttons take up half the screen. I would recommend raising it no higher than 3.
Also opening the settings menu while the UI scale is at max opens an error window.

Regardless of what the UI scale is set to on iOS, the "we have been waiting for X time for players to finish their turns" dialog under the players tray can stick out enough to be seen even when the tray is closed.

iOS, in my games filtered to 'games where it is my turn or have unread chat messages + realtime' app freezes and crashes while the 'checking cache' loading dialog window is up.
For specifics, it was a large game (36 players on a large game of thrones diplo map) where I was eliminated but the game was still active with 3 players alive. The game was in my feed due to unread chat (in the filter I mentioned.)

I also noticed that on iOS in the single player tab, if the UI scale is set to the minimum the level select page is zoomed way out until you rotate the orientation of the app then it fits the screen.
EDIT: basically if you're on the level select screen and change the UI scale the page won't fit the screen until you rotate your device.

iOS, in the store tab the premium colors don't link to the site. It opens an in app purchase (I assume this is on purpose) it tells me to enter my Apple ID password to purchase the color, but says I won't be charged and the 'purchase' will only last for the testing period. Is this true? I want to see it but don't want to risk the charge.

iOS, in an open game where I am the host where there are seats still open, if the device is held vertical and I tap the 'add or remove players' button an error window pops up and forces the app into the horizontal orientation.
If the orientation is horizontal when tapping the button no error pops up but the app does freeze up a tiny bit.
