I'm just pimpin' [20]'s page really. Personally, I think myhandisonfire, Saladin and a couple others are better than some people on the list provided. But I don't want it to be a list of too many of us from [20].

Even better, facebook lets you add whomever you want. The original list was erased for whatever reason.

basically: i added people (a) i think are the best (zibik) and (b) people at the top of both ladders (nuckluck) and (c) people who have been #1 in the ladders lately (everyone else). it is not who i really think are the best 10. just a simplistic list to pimp the group's facebook page. don't feel sad x, you'd make my real list of the best 200!

Lol, sad top 10 list. Only Nuckluck, Impaller, Fizzer, and Zaeban belong there. Why does the dumb kid make a top 10 thread to make himself seem important? Make a big 1v1 double elim tournament with ladder settings and see who finishes top 10. Who cares who says who is best? Let the games decide.

Dazed, the question was not who is the best 1on1 player with ladder settings on the world map. The Impaller being on top for so long, should answer that question.

The question raised was, who is the best overall player. That means not one map with one setting, that means different maps, different settings.
1on1 on different maps (europe for example)
2on2s and 3on3s, ffa etc.
How can people adapt to it, when they are stripped of their experience on one certain map and setting.
If you want to find an answer to that, your 1on1 tournament with ladder settings wont suffice. Host a variety of different games and let them perform there.

I admit my top 10 list looks completely different from Yuanshuais too, as the lists of almost any other player will look different as well, cause there are definitely missing a few players. But the levity with which you removed names from the list , makes you look evenely clueless in my eyes (and of others) , as Yuanshuai looked hypertrophic in your eyes (and of others).

lol. too many sensitive warriors and generals! makes me think you some are better suited for watching oprah with their grandmothers than fighting a goddamn war against men! real generals (in actual armies) are bad-ass men who cuss and spit and think they are the best (physically tougher and mentally more capable than the next guy).

dazed, i like challenges. i invited you to two 1v1 RRs (one with the best, one with a lot of good players), a 2v2 (you/x vs me/myhand...this isn't exactly fair), and a 5v5 (all the guys you said aren't good enough to be in a top 10 list vs you & anyone you want...this is also not fair). i made the games. i'd like to see you prove yourself.

so basically heyheuhei is right ... voting is a popularity contest for most people.

though, getting a little traffic to 20's facebook page is the only real goal here, as stated above

as for who is best: games don't matter so much as who knows about the games. eg: player A is the best. nobody knows about him. player B is in reality only the 10th best. everybody knows about him but doesnt know much about the other 9. so player B is proclaimed the best, even if he always/usually loses to player A.

i dont think i would be in the top 200. and d&i wasnt saying he should have been in the top ten instead. youre the only one who cares about who is better at an online version of risk, so stop being so hostile.

If we're making a list of the best Warlight players, why not also make a list of the best map-builders? I'd nominate two people already: Fizzer, for not only being the player who made the most maps of them all, but also that all maps have perfect borders, and the incredibly hard Hopscotch map, which I think contains the hardest connections on any Warlight map. And Rashaz, for making three super-large maps, all with perfect borders, and, except for the USA map almost no missing connections. I've only found one in the Large Poland map so far, Powiat Bochenski - Powiat Proszowicki in Malopolskie. And, for USA Big, it has over 10.000 connections, so if he missed a hundred, it's still only 1%. The same goes for unnamed territories, I guess in the time he made that map, Warlight didn't tell you if you had unnamed territories on your map.

If you want to find out the best player u should make sth like that.

Select, lets say, '20' the best of the bests.
Make SOME robin tournaments (~5-10 or even more), sum up every rankings like in ski jumping or so. You will approximately get the level of participants.
