@Abraxis, I stick with my idea. Symbols
and colors. Symbols are easy recognisable. Colors specify the exact amount of income the province holds.
How do you account for colorblindness?
I can only see a blue & four red/green in the example above.
@Imaginos, as Ekroth said before I have symbols too
Through the thicker lines most likely.
@Cata Cauda, The map has 2500 territories. A thicker line for every line is simply unachievable and unrealistic. In addition it'd look ugly as well.
can we see an update soon with warmin masuria fixed with Kaliningrad so its more adaptable to ww2 and before scenarios
Yeah certainly. warmanian-masuria can get a slight modification on its borders to ressemble Prussia. I'm not sure about Kaliningrad though. giving Memel to the kalingrad territory would look and fit better for the scenarios but it doesn't correlate to the present day borders. I will consider that
Map looks amazing so far. This may be a more personal desire of mine. But I'd love to see all the European microstates in the game. I've always enjoyed playing as them but maps that go beyond the scope of Europe never have them which dulls some of my interest for such maps. It'd be greatly appreciated to see nations like Monaco, San Marino and Andorra on the map if possible.
@𝓐utumn 𝓝orthwind Thank you for your nice words ^^ although unfortunately I'm currently in a further phase of the development of my map and I'm definitely not up to creating any new territories. To add to that up I don't think micro states are that relevant enough to be put on a world map. However Andorra may get a chance if everything in the late stage of development goes right.
Oh also don't mind the broken connections everywhere around the map guys. I'll never fix them since it's not going to be the official map :p
besides updated version of the map (not official) :
