plz fix Warmin-Masuria and Kaliningrad border so that they match up to make East Prussia without it looking cancerous (that's one of my favorite things about the last map that they matched up)

While working on Cascadia, I also have another historical point in the US. The Oregon County border dispute:

Could we have a poll and/or request what kind of Poland ball design is going on the final map?

don't worry. the polandball comics will be on it with a strong certaintity. Everyone likes it, and so far no one dislikes it, so rest assured it's gonna appear on the map again. You don't even have to suggest a predictable poll in your favor lol

plz fix Warmin-Masuria and Kaliningrad border

will try

The Oregon County border dispute

honestly those claims would've looked ugly on the map. they're more artifical then natural. Anyway this is how current cascadia looks on the map:

Besides I currently am in the beginning of my long period of exams. All progress will be halted until the end of my exams (that's 26/06) or 19 days from now. If that is a damn long period for you, you're right. Our exam schedule is crazy

Belgian Gentlemen, actually Antarctica
From CoolAntarctica:
At this point there will be some much more contentious issues to be addressed:

Should it be allowed to drill for oil in Antarctic waters, or exploit other mineral wealth?

If it is, what environmental safeguards should there be?

Who do the oil / minerals belong to? (especially tricky one that)

Is the Antarctic Treaty sufficient to continue to govern and make decisions in these circumstances?

Will the countries who want the resources respect the Antarctic Treaty, or try to undermine it to get what they want for themselves?

The treaty is of course ignorable.
Also, don't forget territorial boundaries relating to colonization in the Americas, such as the Louisiana Territory

Here's something to consider for the Carribean:

Hi,wonderfull work btw,was looking through your map,i think there should be a connection between South Italy(Apulia) to Balkans, either to the dalmatian islands or split, seeing as there were quite a few connections as far back in the roman times up to the wwII when italy wanted to take the dalmatian coast.
Good Luck on your map

I'm not much of a diplo player, but I can respect someone who puts this much time and dedication into a map. I have 13 published maps and I didn't put the time into them all put together that you are spending on this one gorgeous map. You are truly a master at work. Also, the way that you are allowing and encouraging community feedback is pretty awesome too. Keep it up!

Hi doc ;)

Just now seeing this. I just have to say, this map is awesome! I have mixed feelings about the improvements, but that probably means I need to understand the reasons behind them more.

This map is very valuable to me. I am a big fan of local deployment, especially on 1 territory bonus maps and big maps so I was very happy to find this map. turns take a long time but the games are very enjoyable to me and apparently others too. This is how I use the map:
https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=13389156
https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=11093687 (same thing but on the smaller map)

Issues and changes:

  • The gdp inaccuracy is offsetting but not a huge deal for me. Still would love to see how a more accurate map plays, that will change a lot.
  • My biggest pet peeve has been the bonus icons. I have no problem with them being numbers, it is just the way they are displayed (when you zoom in they are illegible). They are only like this in the Warlight Unity App but eventually all of warlight will be on that app. http://imgur.com/a/8cbnC
http://imgur.com/a/1heSO (not sure why img tags are not working)
I am not a mapmaker so I do not understand it but it is an issue and is likely to become more of an issue when more people switch to the app.
  • The 1-100 bonus value is very exciting, cant wait to see that as well.
  • The sea connections thing, this is very new and I don't understand its advantages. Will all other sea connections be removed? This seems like it will have a large effect on games.
  • Not too many problems with territories or connections, maybe either make Qatar slightly farther away from or connect to Al Klubar (is a little confusing).

Again, thank you for putting so much time into this map.

Can you use official Cencus regions of the US as bonuses?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_regions_of_the_United_States#/media/File:Census_Regions_and_Division_of_the_United_States.svg

New England, Middle Atlantic, South Atlantic, East South Central, West South Central, East North Central, West North Central, Mountain, Pacific.

Or use the US Federal regions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_regions_of_the_United_States#/media/File:USFederalRegions.svg

Or the BEA regions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_regions_of_the_United_States#/media/File:BEA_regions.png

Canada was done fine. Idk why America is so weird. The Census' regions are the most widely known and the closest comparison to Canada's territory.

Also I really want bonuses based on GDP.

If it's possible, I would like to see a few more editable bonuses for when people make scenarios with smaller regions, like more than 1 bonus for Mongolia, a large group of territories, only supplied by the -Mongolia- bonus

The Anime Women respectfully request that you add more detail to Japan. Failure to do so will result in severely restricted japanese animation exports for the next few decades.
