Hmm, it seems no any more race in 2017, game over already, Timi will be in the first position in the end of the 2017 season! Rak has got 945 points from the 6 remained ongoing events, but Timi has got 1300 points (and even possibility to gain 800 more points if he won his last game), so Timi's points will be higher than Rak's for sure (would have been epic if rakleader would won that Grand Slam semifinal and now a Grand Slam Final game between Timi and rak deciding about the year end first position :O) So congratulations to Timinator for the 2017 number one position! It was a really nice march! Againts a really hard opponent, so congrats to rakleader as well! He will have 5880 points, so he will be second position with an all-time top3 higher points :O Btw, if Timinator win his last game from 2017, he will break Rak's highest ranking points records too (6475 is Rak's record now, and Timi will have 6850 points).

You can find the full list here (with all 2017 results, records and events sheets): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vQjGXl_w98JSYcSRF6dUI3UyOsJm57DoKc9lsuTN6-NeXHLVkC-0QAqTTZfL_M-DLMIM8NK4I4rzCXJ/pubhtml
The last remaining event have finished in the meantime, but this post is about the state of the 1st of May. I will create a separate post for the finished 2017 Tour Race later.
And because some 2018 events finished in the last month, here is the new, 2018 Tour Race table too.
- The TOP20 on the 2018 Tour Race after April:
You can find the full list here (with all 2018 results and records sheets): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vT9hOqShI-jfbn4nfNbiKY6xRIEKazpbtXUxY2iDlBeEXQ6czWlQ4Ao4l85f4Ny38SlPCSLpWfveKBT/pubhtml
Nice starts by MoD, malakkan and Quicksilver! Timi and Rak are in 6th and 9th position "only" (ok, no major event finished yet). Oh, and Bunsy finished a not major event, good! Now he needs only 5 more ;)
And remember, the end of the 2018 Tour Race will be held a Tour Finals event for the TOP8 players. The details are not finalized yet, but likely will be best of X games format in a single elimination tourney (with manually created games and players choosed templates)

Two new events finished, congrats time! 73. AWP World Tour - Masters 1000 - China https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer/Tournament?ID=24361Congratulations to Quicksilver for his 5th (!) Tour event win! (his first major) Here are the TOP16: 79. AWP World Tour - Grand Slam - Strategic Greece https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer/Tournament?ID=24637Congratulations to kicorse for his first Tour event win! Immediatelly a Grand Slam, nice entrant! Here are the TOP16: Quicksilver with these net 2200 points (he didn't defend any points from these two last year events), finally arrived to the TOP10, and immediatelly into the podium (3th place), congrats! And his story is not over yet I think, because his gained 4180 points from only 11 finished events! :O And he starts to join all to the 12 major events and seems all to the 12 500 Series events (as described in the Grand Book, Buns, are you listening? :P ). So arrived a new contender to the present Big Two (Timi and Rak), so we start to speak about again the Big Three? :O And this is not over yet, here are the the newest member of the new wave, kicorse did a magnificient introduction, won a Grand Slam and seems he won't stop here and aiming the TOP10 too. But there are many contenders for the TOP10 now, so won't be simple task. And my secret hope, that the old guards will put on the gloves again, and try to fight with the new generation on the Tour ;)

The second birthday of The Tour is coming (30th of May), so a good time to present the final result of 2017 Tour Race with some statistics and records. This was the second year on The Tour, but the first full year with 50 events. - The TOP25 player from the finished 2017 Tour Race
(counted only the 2017 events):
Ok, lets see what happened in 2017 on The Tour (in chronological order) (you can check the monthly posts here: https://www.warzone.com/Forum/262655-awp-world-tour-magazine?Offset=17&offset=17)
In January, Pana got the #1 position, and we started to speak the Big Four, instead of Big Three (Buns, MoD, MIFRAN and Pana). Fun fact that in that time (01/2017) Pana was a Masters member. Fun fact two, Quicksilver was in the TOP10 (with his GS final 1200 points, but only because the not full season, recently can't be TOP10 even with a GS winner 2000 points), I totally forgot this :O
Then came the sad Spring/Summer (at least for The Tour), because the Big Four "died". First Pana semi (later full) retired, then MIFRAN. Buns started to play only in the 12 major events, and MoD "just" played his (very strong) base level which was enough to win smaller events, but not for stable good results on the majors. Even the only guy who joined to all Tour events from the beginning (and stable TOP10 player), Arkanton retired too in this year :(
But not only sad things happened, a new star started to raise also, named rakleader! First he broke the Big Four, then got the #1, then did the still current point record (6475). Amazing performances, congratulations! 2017 was definitely his and his later pretender, Timinator's year.
Yes, Timinator, because similar than in last year Pana, Timi got the #1 position in the very end of the year, congrats to him! With not a big point difference (only 205 points), but he was able do that at last, excellent performance! I was not sure he can do that (not because lack of skills, but rakleader's had got very strong results), but he did :D
And I would like to congratulate to every (not mentioned yet) TOP10 players during 2017 as well. So congrats to FlyingBender, DR. Love, Wini, Milly, Hades, Master Bjarke, AI, krunx and malakkan!
Speaking about 2017, we must to mention Quicksilver magnificent win% too, which was 94% (!) during the year, but then fortunately he decided that give a shot to the #1 and started to join to all majors and 500 Series events (as every pretenders should do!). Despite this still he had the Win% record in 2017 with a very nice 89% (41-5) records.
And if records were mentioned, you can find more records and statistics from 2017, right after the google sheet below.
- Here are the full Rankings (including "Results", "Tour records" and "Events" tables) based on only 2017 events.

- And here are some statistics from 2017:
- 319 players joined to the Tour during 2017
- 18 players joined to 40 or more events
- 42 players joined to 30 or more events
- 72 players joined to 20 or more events
- 137 players joined to 10 or more events
- 192 players joined to 5 or more events
- 263 players joined to 2 or more events
50 tournaments
- 4 - Grand Slams
- 8 - Masters 1000
- 12 - 500 Series
- 26 - 250 Series
3918 finished gamesAnd here are the Tour records based on only 2017 events

Monthly Tour Race Update - 05/2018 The TOP20 on the 2018 Tour Race after May:
You can find the full list here (with all 2018 results and records sheets): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vQ6i8HKICSJ-27lbhrjrrQ6nifKHj-pRp6XG8_18qDvxwj9iV2aFxorSfSAC5BKHcOyKAPWRgJSE7Zv/pubhtml
Two major events finished, so the race speeded up a bit. Kicorse and Quicksilver are head-to-head in the first two places. And their points are not only from the Grand Slam but the smaller events too. So seems we have two new pretenders for Timi and Rak :D The result of Edge's very stable performance is a third place on the Tour Race so far (and a TOP10 on the Tour Ranking). He is not winning many events, he is not in the TOP5 on the various record tables, but he has got good results (many finals and semifinals) from the events he joined, so very deserved that good position. Alexclusive is a new face on the Tour, seems he start to focus it, I am very curious how high he will be on the Rankings in the end. That Masters win is a good basis for that.
Only 8 events finished of 50, but now the following eight players would play on the year-end Final event: kicorse, Quicksilver, Edge, alexclusive, Cluster, awesomeusername, master of desaster, Octane
Timinator and rakleader are not in now :O Ok, it does not mean anything yet, the 8 finished events are very few ;)
Who will be that 8 players who will fight for the year-end trophy? If you check the TOP20 picture, you can find many exciting candidates. I feel that it will be a good fight for that TOP8 position and I like it. :D GL&HF!
