Firstly, a massive thank you to Ekstone for all he's done over the years to grow AWP, and make it into the tournament it is today; it is an exceptional achievement, and one I'm in awe of!

I am a little nervous taking over such a great project, but I know the community has helped Ekstone over the years, so I'm hoping to have half as much success as Ekstone with all your help, and I'm excited to see where AWP goes next!

Thank you ekstone <3. AWP was the first competitive format I learned about and got involved in after joining the strat community, and I still remember how excited it made me. I've gotten to play many great tourneys and improve thanks to you and your AWP and you will be missed. Hopefully you'll still be hanging around and about.

And welcome dom the new hero Gotham needs :D

So, without further ado, it is time to start the 2022 AWP Tour!

The first event of 2022 is a Grand Slam tournament, held on the Biomes of America template.

MME MA LD didn't make the cut for the 2022 Tour Season, disappointingly! Be sure to send your messages of frustration to the tour organiser ;)

I will be competing in most/all tournaments though - there's no benefit by playing/organising (aside from creating the schedule I suppose) so no conflict of interest! Ekstone retired from playing many years ago, hence why he didn't play - probably makes his commitment to the cause even more impressive - but he'd be welcome to join in if he ever fancied it in the future!

Everyone who competed in at least one tournament in 2021 has now been invited to the event!

If anyone else would like an invite, just let me know!

I will try to make it a seasonal template :P AI tried for Greece LD and now it's my turn XD (Although, it would not be next season as I would be busy irl.)
