Alt leadership can only be for the short-term. In this short-term you must recruit players and you need to recruit a leadership type player to carry the clan after the alt leadership + council drops. Alts = unstability and can't be relied long-term. You can only carry the donkey so far before you drop. You need to stabilise the clan. Stop people from leaving , Assess yourselves and draw up a new plan of what the clan is going to be , What members we are going to attract and how are we going to "market/showcase" ourselves. Because so far to me, It's going to be a few volunteers that aren't very heavily interested in the clan that don't want to lead. Then when everyone gets tired there will probably be nobody to step up and lead the clan. That's why I emphasis the short-term is where your going to get a new leadership set in.

Thank you for your verbose advice, Platinum. I will incorporate everything you say into my new plan and completely disregard any previous plans that I may have had. I'm glad you are so wise to set me strait on such matters.

This is really a prime example of community communication via the forum. I love it!

If you want I can give advice and give you a plan going forward. I won't be doing any work but preferably giving advice for short-term and let ye do the rest. I've too much of a vented interest in how clans do to make myself helpful but quite the opposite.

I suggested making it an inactive historic clan by just making alts named like "Jefferspin" or "#QB" but that doesn't seem to be the solution anyone here wants.

I don't understand this thread. Why ask us for advice? All that matters is what your clan wants. That is how we run stuff in WG. I don't dictate to my members where we go as a clan. I just facilitate discussions and liaison with other leaders, etc.

Out of curiosity, how many members has Blitz gained since this thread and its resulting strategy was initiated?

unless something has changed 2 new accounts have joined Blitz since the moment of creating this thread (not counting our own alts as leaders for this)

And does Blitz intend to participate in CL10?

From what i've seen so far i don't think so but we still have all summer long before next CL starts i think so you never know. So for clans in C there might be a reason to try and fight for 3rd place still even if you know you won't get into the top 2.

Come on, don't go the apex/WM/AHol/20 route and just fade. You guys can still compete in B

^ I agree, GG, Lynx, ONE and Hydra can do well in B. ;D

I don't know how Hydra will do (have not seen them competitively, but they are all over the ladders). But those other clans won't get relegated to B.
