And you think it's good spormanship? I remember someone stalling on the rt ladder as well. This sucks much more for the opponent than an imperfect rating system.

Wheter nauz plays the rt ladder or nit is irrelevant here. His point is still right. What you said before is untrue. You clearly don't undestand the rating system of the rt ladder.

Edit: that beeig said, alts (from upper average players) deflate the ladder rating on trueskill and are therefore bad for the ladder.

This is terrible logic.

What account(s) I play on is my business. I don't need to reveal the identity of accounts I play in order to defend their usage, or that I understand the rating system better than you.

I've had alts with 2200 trueskill mean that had lengthy winstreaks, I know for a fact that the people I beat barely had their rating drop at all, and that when the streaks ended, the people that beat me got a massive rating jump. They didn't have their rating impacted the same as losing to most people with a ~1650 rating, their ratings were impacted by 2200 trueskill mean which is typically closer to someone rated 2000+.

The RTL overrates people until they have a loss, I am not claiming I can hit 2000+ on the RTL, or that I can maintain a 2200 trueskill mean while having losses, but I don't need to be that good to witness the impact my games have on other players while having such a mean even if it is temporary.

Because it overrates players with no losses, such alt runs tend to cause inflation, not deflation, because the alt is overrated, and therefore causes their opponents ratings to benefit as well.

Ya the problem is that you can't handle a loss so instead of surrendering you talked him into surrendering a game he had won. Seems like emotional manipulation to me.

Also for you to talk in the past to other players about ladder etiquette and setting examples and doing this looks a bit hypocritical.

I carefully consider my moves and nearly all of my RT ladder games are far slower than average. It's not uncommon for me to exceed bank time and lose as a result. This is not "stalling" in the sense you're suggesting.

If you have a problem with the time settings Fizzer uses for the RT ladder, that's a fair point. Maybe we could have a separate ultra fast RT ladder.

I know you offer people advice for this sort of behavior usually, but I don't really value your advice as much as your money.

Not at all, and I have a lot of experience handling losses;)

In fact, Pardon99 can confirm I surrendered a game to him turn 1 because I felt I had won a previous game against him unfairly.

Sometimes I find it hard to decide what to do when down 20 vs. 5 as well. Surrendering seems like the sensible option, but then I remember that maybe if I play till elimination my opponent will eventually get booted. This isn't stalling of course, it's just playing strategically.

In the end I'm human. Read the chat there, I was frustrated with rouxburg. Probably for the wrong reasons and regardless I didn't handle the situation gracefully. I would do it differently. I respect rouxburg and I apologized after. If he doesn't remember, I apologize here.

In the hundreds of other games I've played I'm sure you can find other examples where I've been less than perfect.
