Stats just won 1v1 Guiroma and 1v1 French Brawl (tiebreaker?) tournaments I think?

Tournament Update:

Hello all. The eve of midseason is upon us. Starting tomorrow, clans can start packing in their new players into the midseason registration window and place them into their lineups. There will be a two week dead period while no new games are created and the Qs finish up their games. I am not sure what the plan is, but depending on how long it takes for Q to finish up it may be a while more than two weeks before new games are created. Nevertheless, we can expect some roster changes going out of the midseason in into the second half of the season.

As math wolf did mention, some clan league tournaments did finish up, with statisticains taking the first two 1v1 tournaments completed.

Analysis:

FCC found their first win since week 1 vs hydra on 3v3 europe. With that, their long drought is over. Maybe mid-season registration can salvage their season yet. If they have the players for it, that is.

Hydra seems to further separate themselves from the top four and currently are holding tight to the 5th place rung. It is defo FCC vs Hydra for relegation/not relegation, and this is definitely Hydra's place to lose. Ppface, however, went inactive, and delivered a free win to stats, as well as booting on active games. So that's not good for them...

Once again, there really isn't anything decisive going on with the top four. Max points hasn't changed much, with sninja still holding onto a 17 point margin, but for the obtained points the Stats, TJC, and WG all shuffled. This will definitely be a nail-biter to the finish for who gets these slots it seems.

Aura Guardian you should really be saying "Bold denotes winner", not "Bold detonates winner". The latter says that the player in bold blows up [read, explodes] the winner, which when taken into account that you only bold winners, means the winners blow themselves up…

Analysis:

A quiet week. Not much to talk about, not much has changed. Statisticians lost two games, which sinks their positioning a bit, but otherwise seems to still be a rather tight race between the top 4. Hydra and FCC are both pretty stalled. Seems neither FCC wants to catch up, nor Hydra break away, but then again, there are no games being created at this time, nor will there be until later this month, as the interim period continues to wind on.

I'm afraid if you win 3 out of 21 games you are bound to be dead last. Quite surprising looking over some of your clan member names and the fact that Hydra looks like a dead clan by now.

A bit delayed, but no update this week due to not a lot of clan games finishing. I will resume regular updates for next week when the interem break finishes up.

Tournament Update:

Elitist Africa finished up a while back. Forget to check two weeks ago, I should have reported on it then. Congratulations to Sninja for taking home the crown with a 5-0 record! A great performance for the top clan in this division thus far.

This means, so far, stats have 2 tournament wins and sninja 1. As we exit the midseason period, expect games to pick up again as new 1v1 games are allotted. They will be added to the updates as the first finishing games of these groups appear.

Comprehensive Update VIII:

We are now coming out of the midseason period. As new 1v1 games get allocated, I expect activity to pick up once more as we head down the second half the season. I guess half would be a misnomer for the group, since a little over half of games have already been allocated, with only 2 team games per tournament to be created. The last games get allocated in early august, which is the earliest of any group of players. Group B clans will finish up most quickly, which will allow them more time than other groups to reflect and reload for the next season. Assuming they can take advantage of that circumstance.

Analysis:

Mostly team games have finished these last two weeks. Its interesting to see how different clans have performed during the duration 1v1s were prominently finishing, and when team games were prominently finishing. This seems to suggest the nature of each respective clan, and where the strengths and weaknesses are. Sninja has performed well through both stages, which really suggests to me that their current hold on 1st place is well deserved. Stats, TJC, and Hydra have largely flatlined through this period. Their stagnating performances means that WG takes the hold on the 2nd promotion slot- at least for now.

FCC continues to munch away at the point difference between themselves and Hydra, both in categories of total and max points. Several team wins on FCC's side, along with only 4 total team points on Hydra's side, have spurred this trend. If FCC can continue this "strong" performance at expense of Hydra, they might be able to overtake a clan's whose performance thus far has been unexpectedly dismal.
