Just for the record, MH is above GG right now - i dont think anybody expected GG to drop from a comfortable #3 to a #6... EzPickens and Ko are the MVPs for MH at the moment. (But also, that MH team on biomes is top notch now that they changed Jojo and Ayan for Tbest and Emu..)

hahaha; as you might tell, i havent watched the games Tbest :D. Looks like you guys dont have any more biomes games though :(, so the team does not get a chance to prove itself :(
Here is another fun fact: Did you know that GG has won none of its last 10 games?

Update #11 - September 21st, 2018 At last, the waiting for the promised postcard ends. Sadly, the mailmen broke the wooden airplane. I'll try to glue it together and make it fly one day. As promised, a picture! The text reads the following: "Dear Farah, Thank you again for taking over the update of this CL. Consider this plane as subscription for any book you would consider publishing in the future. Malakkan. P.S. on the vevo of this card, a drawing by my son. He was a bit jealous and asked to which child I was about to send that beautiful postcard. I told thim this was for a young lady who played the same game as me (the game with a map, which slowly fills with blue...)" Thank you Malakkan for keeping your promise and sending this awesome postcard. Tell your son the young lady says hi. 1v1 French Brawl (Finished) - Winner: Kezzo

Games finished since last week:timon92 (Lynx) defeats awesomeusername (GG) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16165770Two first turn bonuses; one in Chralanka and one in Impora. Both players prioritize them and end up splitting them. Awesomeusername has a 4-bonus to expand in and timon92 has a 5-bonus to expand in. On turn 2 awesomeusername counters the split FTB, but timon hadn't expanded there. Timon takes advantage the next turn as awesomeusername is looking to counter Zarway, but ends up facing a stack when timon takes Impora with a lot. The incomes are 13 for timon and 9 for awesomeusername. As the turns continue, awesomeusername manages to break Impora, but timon gets a huge positional advantage by eliminating everything near his income and eliminating awesomeusername from Chralanka. When at last it's 17 versus 9 income, timon gets his surrender from awesomeusername. 1v1 Pangea Ultima - Winner: Rento

Games finished since last week:Malakkan (ONE!) defeats JV (GG) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16215383JV goes for the two turn 12 with 4 3v2's. Anyone want to take a wild guess what happens? Yes, he fails one of course. Malakkan on the other hand, utilizes a less greedy strategy and gets a safe 4-bonus. He places himself next to JV's failed bonus and pressures him there while expanding. Malakkan holds the income advantage forever and JV struggles to do anything about it. It lasts 12 turns, but JV finally surrenders after a hard-fought game. Rento (Lynx) defeats Facetroll (Outlaws) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16215384My first reaction was "oh god, 23 turns". But then it got interesting. Facetroll picks three combo's in a way that ends up netting him no combo at all. They both get some safe income and neighbour each other on turn 1. Skip the brawling and expanding part and look at turn 4; a very nice predict by Rento. Facetroll has a double border on Rento's income, but would rather smash him in the south. Rento predicts, deploys only 3 and defends it. The turn after he loses it though. With Rento completing his 5-bonus, he's now one income ahead of Facetroll while they're brawling in two places. Not much happens until it suddenly does on turn 13. Rento predicts Facetroll's flank correctly in the south and manages to eliminate him. Suddenly the board is open again. Facetroll stacks his way to Rento's 5-bonus and breaks it with ease. Meanwhile, Rento expands to make up for the income he's losing and is making his way to Facetroll's income. They brawl a bit around Facetroll's bonus and on turn 18 it finally happens; Facetroll gets broken. From here all Rento has to do is not mess up. He does not mess up. This win puts Rento at 6-0. He's the only player this season to go 6-0 solo, so an extra big congratulations to Rento. He wins the tournament with style. Pangea Ultima is now finished.

Games finished since last week:Juan + 90\(ºº)/ (Lynx) defeat FiveStarGeneral + Memele (ONE!) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16193626A lot is going on here. 90 and Juan land a combo on Finland and on Western Russia. Fivestar gets his safe income from Bulgaria. And Memele tries to spoil the party in Western Russia with limited success. Without any succes, actually. He forces some of their deploy, but gets eliminated there in a few turns. The trade-off for the Lynx team is that they get eliminated from Spain, giving Fivestar another safe bonus (portugal). 90 predicts Memele not attacking him in Norway and grabs it. Juan is in a position to take Northernwestern Russia and also makes his way down to Bulgaria. FiveStar completes Spain getting him to a big 17 income, but Memele remains on 6 income and is bound to be broken and maybe even eliminated in a few turns. Games finished since last week:FlyingBender + MisterT + Po1onius (GG) defeat Kezzo + Platinum + Odinhttps://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16193629Now this is an interesting game. Note that a lot of the things I'm about to say are just opinions. Don't be mad. Here goes. Outlaws completely mispick this game. Their focus on islands is understandable, but guys. There's and uncounterable FTB on Austria. Outlaws also try to pull a 12/13 combo on port/spain, but don't land the combo as they pick in a weird way before that. Also, Southwest Russia before the FTB West Central Russia? And 11/14/23 in that area with 14/23 on the FTB? I really can't see how that works. After picks it's obvious that GG wins this game with ease. But, there's always a but. Flyingbender boots turn 1. This really messes up GG, as their AI moves towards Suour with 3. Yet, for some reason, Platinum decides to not attack there next turn and lets the AI finish Ireland. FlyingBender is still AI on turn 2, but takes back control turn 3. The rest of the game is pretty much GG outpredicting and outplaying Outlaws on every front. This was a really weak showing by Outlaws. Definitely a must-watch.

The standings after this week are as follows:
- Lynx has a party-week. They celebrate a 3-0 performance, netting them 10 points and losing no max points.
- M'Hunters win a 3v3 and gain 5 points. They lose no games this week, so they're getting closer and closer to safety.
- Masters win a 2v2 and gain 4 points. They lose nothing.
- VS finishes no games, so they're not last this time.
- ONE! wins a 1v1 but loses a 2v2, gaining them 3 points, but costing them 4 max points.
- GG goes 1-3. They win a 3v3 though, so the damage is not as bad as it could've been. They lose 2 1v1's and a 2v2, resulting in 5 points gained, but 10 max points lost.
- Outlaws have a dramatic week. Not only do they lose a 1v1, they also lose 2 3v3's. This means -13 max points for them and zilch in points gained.
There's three battles going on, so let's go over them separately. The battle for goldBoth Lynx and Masters have 128 points. Masters have one more max point. Their records so far are 36-18 (Masters) and 37-18 (Lynx). Their head-to-head games are in Lynx' favour so far. Lynx have won 5 head-to-heads, while masters have won only 3. There's still 3 games going on between those clans and those are going to make a huge difference in the chance for that beloved first place. The battle for BronzeONE! and Outlaws are fighting it out for third place. While Outlaws has more points (105 versus ONE's 99), they only have 9 games remaining where ONE has 13 more games. The max points of ONE are 153, against 144 for Outlaws. They have no more head-to-head games. Outlaws gloriously wins the h2h's against ONE with 7 to 4. The battle for SafetyGG and M'Hunters battle it out for fifth place, the place where they can be safe and compete in A next season. They're equal in points (93) and almost equal in max points (126 for GG, 128 for M'Hunters). Their h2h's are in M'Hunters' favour. M'Hunters won 6, GG won 4 and one game is still going on. All in all, this season's end-game is the most interesting I've ever seen.

Timinator fails to defend it and also doesn't break MIFRAN in Thessaly. MIFRAN ends up with 1 income advantage and keeps pressuring the east of the map. Games finished since last week:Krzysztof (Outlaws) defeats awesomeusernamehttps://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16237173I would say from picks that awesomeusername is in a winning position. awesomeusername gets a FTB and sees Krzysztof deploying nothing. Awesomeusername then figures he must have gone for the 2 turn 11, as he stacks towards one of those bonuses, without the definitive intel. Then i ask, why? If you think he went for the two turn 11, why not eliminate him from Zarway? (This isn't meant as some confronting annoying question btw, i'm genuinely curious and hope to get a response from awesomeusername or someone that wants to give it some thought). Anyways, as Krzy is not eliminated there, the brawl starts. The game looks like a stalemate for a long time, until Krzy takes his bonus back and expands in the same turn. This gives him the income advantage and he wins pretty easily from there. Gibson (VS) defeats FiveStarGeneral (ONE!) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16237176Oh yeah, there's a triple-pick and there's Gibson. A beautiful combination as always. And indeed, he does go for the triple! Unfortunately, FiveStar picks the same 1 and he gets it. FiveStar is ahead of income for most of the game, but it quickly turns into a brawl on two fronts. Gibson builds a stack and ravages through FiveStar's income while not getting eliminated in the east. Gibson manages to turn the game around with this and FiveStar responds with the surrenderboot. I love you, Gibson. AI (M'Hunters) defeats FiveStarGeneral (ONE!) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16165768FiveStarGeneral boots from a very good position, a true shame. Deadman + Master Jz (Masters) defeat Rento + alexclusive (Lynx) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16387997After picks, deadman gets a safe Northwest Africa combo, Jz gets a safe South Africa. On the Lynx side, alexclusive steals Masters' first pick; an overpowered and safe Greenland. He also gets West Russia and central Eurasia. Rento splits the Indonesia/Australia combo with Jz and has two territories in South America where deadman is too. A fun distribution of picks. So, Rento can't get income. Therefore he smashes deadman. Note how deadman does a conditional tap, the trick discovered by his teammate Jz. Anyways, deadman deployed all there, so he isn't getting eliminated. The next turn is where something interesting happens. Rento gifts Peru to alexclusive and blind-counters indonesia. But Jz went for Africa, there's no way she'd go for Indonesia. The turn after, Jz blind-counters Australia. Fun situation. In an effort to get some income, Rento tries to go for Brazil, but Deadman predicts it and races to his bonus. alexclusive, meanwhile, pressures Jz and takes his second bonus. He breaks Jz after a flank and a smash, but Jz is already expanding into East Africa. The problem for the Lynx team is that Rento is never going to get income. And Jz and Deadman can both expand. The game ends on turn 7. A nice game to watch. 2v2 Szeurope

JV gets a safe WCR and Iceland, while Platinum gets Norway and Portugal. With Mike and Odin having to fight the fight in the center, Platinum and JV stack towards Western Norway and take their bonuses. Odin, having a safe Belarus pick goes for Belarus and predicts Mike right in Slovakia. Platinum also completes Portugal, netting them an income advantage of 4. The GG team can't get anymore income except for Benelux and the game is over quick after Odin threatens WCR and predicts Mike in the center time after time. A well-played game by Outlaws. Timinator + Xenophon (Masters) defeat FiveStarGeneral + Memele (ONE!) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16023748Xeno and Timi pick Portugal as their first pick. They get the intel that FSG is in Spain, yet Xeno deploys all his income there anyway. I'm curious as to what thought was behind that. Memele and FSG get no safe income except for Benelux and Finland, while Timinator and Xenophon get Denmark, a (rather) safe Russia and a (rather) safe center. This leads the Masters team to a 1-income advantage and a great position, which wins them the game in 6 turns. 2v2 Volcano Islands

Games finished since last week:Here comes the template i hate reviewing. And there's a ton of games on it. Yay.. alexclusive + ZeroBlindDragon + Octane (Lynx) defeat vicnus + johnmd + jef (VS) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16388001The usual combo's like Alaska Coastline, California and Lima are split between the teams. There's a triple pick on Northern Cedar Forest, in which alexclusive gets one pick and jef gets two. That must've hurt some Lynx feelings. The big thing for Lynx though, is that they got ZBD on 6 income off picks, while everyone else is on 4 or less. A funny thing happens on turn one. The two rainforest picks are both gifted to an opponent, having them end up in the same situation as before. The key difference is that johnmd's -3 from that gift is extremely bad for the VS team. John is in all the good positions. Now he's in all the bad positions, cause he's on only 3 income. On turn 2, Jef fails the counter to California and keeps stacking next to ZBD. Octane correctly predicts John not taking Barrow and for some reason the VS team blockades the rainforest pick instead of just gifting it back. Leaving poor john on 4 income. At this point the game is completely over. Lynx wins the 5 points over VS. aoc + Facetroll + Edge (Outlaws) defeat alexclusive + Octane + ZeroBlindDragon (Lynx) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16043267As the beacon of light i am to warlight players, i won't make any references to any drama whatsoever. There's a lot of good picks in this distribution, so we see 13 vs. 14 total combined income after picks. We also immediately see trouble for alexclusive when turn 1 plays out. He smashes facetroll, but mr. maths has it all figured out and smashes back, eliminating alexclusive from a very good bonus. A risky move by alexclusive that didn't pay off at all. On the same turn, something else happens. Octane predicts Facetroll fleeing from Buenos Aires and tries to take him with a 2-attack late. Then he tries to take Santa Fe with a 3 attack from the same territory. Unfortunately, Facetroll taps him and he gets neither. If you thought alexclusive took a risk, Octane just 1-upped him. Hell, 18-upped him. The lynx team is on more income though, so there's that. But with a good gift and transfer in Alaska, the outlaws team gets the incomes back to even. On turn 3, ZBD opts to stack in Lima instead of taking Northern Great Plains, but he does complete Gulf of Mexico. The lynx team has the income advantage once again. Lynx sanctions aoc and aoc gifts a territory in Alaska to Facetroll, resulting in transfers so Octane can't break him. The incomes keep going down for Lynx and up for outlaws. ZBD gets outstacked in Lima by Edge, Facetroll can send armies to aoc in Sao Paolo and aoc has a very safe bonus. It ends with Lynx surrendering a well-fought game, but man. You guys took some risk. Master Moto + Timinator + Master Jaesar (Masters) defeat aoc + Facetroll + Edge (Outlaws) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16215388Facetroll lands a nice combo in Northern Cedar Forest and Edge gets Alaska which is safe. The cluster around Central American Rainforest is shared between timinator times two and Edge + aoc. Then there's literally every other combo which the teams split. Outlaws opt to blockade the Central American Rainforest, but Timi breaks it anyways the turn after. As Edge tries to push Jz out of the East Coast, Jz eliminates aoc from California; a safe region. Plus, the stack she has as leftover there goes right to Alaska to pressure Edge. Speaking of pressuring Edge, Timinator does quite the job and straight up smashes him in Galapagos, leaving Edge only to flee. aoc completes Chilean Woodlands, but it's in vain. Jz pushes Edge back in the East coast, even breaking his big blockade. With moto and timinator facing Facetroll in key positions, the game is settled. alexclusive + Octane + ZeroBlindDragon (Lynx) defeat 89thlap + Muli + Adreso (ONE!) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16215389This game was settled on turn one. Lynx gets all the good combo's on Coast Mountains and East Coast. Not only that, but ZBD counters Sao Paolo too. Then a correct predict by Octane on turn 2; he predicts Muli not attacking him in Coast Mountains and succeeds. He smashes California though, owned by Adreso. The Lynx team is three income ahead and is playing aggressively in Alaska with ZBD entering the battle there. Two clever gifts get Muli the Gulf of Mexico, raising him to 9 income. Muli also manages to kill off a territory of ZBD in Alaska, getting ZBD to 5 income. Now Muli is on the road to pressure again. He successfully kills octane in Alaska, but in the meantime Octane completes Sao Paolo and Rio. Alexclusive pushed Llanos. On turn 6, the mayhem starts. Alexclusive takes over a significant amount of territories in Llanos while staying put in Lima, ZBD refuses to give up Alaska and Octane gets a territory from Muli there. At this point the ONE! team is done for and the game is over two turns later. Well played, both teams. ONE came back from some really unfavorable picks and Lynx played it nicely in the end.

3v3 Europe - Winner: Deadman + Master Jz + Master Moto
(5-1) Master Clan - Deadman + Master Jz + Master Moto - ???
(4-1) |GG| - FlyingBender + MisterT + Po1onius
(4-2) Outlaws - Kezzo + Platinum + Odin
(2-3) Lynx - Dom365 + Juan + 90 \(ºº)/
(1-4) M'Hunters - AI + Melethron + blobblob
(3-2) ONE! - Suschel + Muli + Beren
(0-6) VS - DarrenDieHard + INSIDE + tobe
Games finished since last week:Suschel + Muli + Beren (ONE!) defeat Deadman + Master Jz + Master Moto (Masters) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=15873805A 16-turn EU 3v3. How delightful. I'm going to keep it short on this one since it's late and 16 turns of EU will break my spirit. After picks, the only presence Masters get in Russia is Finland. And who's there? Moto. And where else is moto? Iceland. Also, Muli landed a combo on Ireland. While moto has two positions that are rather impossible to keep, he gets help in the center and grabs income. But Suschel's delays in russia make Moto get pushed out of there. After Moto's eliminated from Russia, we see the big expansion battle. Jz goes for France, Deadman goes for Spain. Beren goes for Western Russia, Suschel kindly takes Finland and SouthWestern Russia. Also, Moto gets eliminated from Iceland, finally. Did I mention Suschel taking North Western Russia? No? He takes North Western Russia. After the expansion from both teams, ONE! turns out to have the income on Masters and they win the game. Please, never play such a long game again. Loveyouguysnonetheless Deadman + Master Jz + Master Moto (Masters) defeat Odin + Platinum + Kezzo (Outlaws) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=15710506Just when you think you started with the worst, a 16-turn EU 3v3 game, you open the next one. A 16-turn 3v3 EU game. A real good predict by Jz gets her a safe Belarus. Moto eliminates Portugal, getting him some safe income. But, Kezzo has Denmark, Odin has Ireland. Masters play it with a 1-income disadvantage for turn after turn. But on turn 6 and 7, the income situation changes. Moto takes Portugal and predicts Switzerland, leaving Masters with the income advantage. With Moto on a roll for income, he decides it's time to expand massively. And so he does. In a few turns he's up to 32 income and it's gg. GG. Suschel + Muli + Beren (ONE!) defeat tobe + DarrenDieHard + INSIDE (VS) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16193631VS gets the FTB on Denmark, leaving ONE! with the islands. They get the FTB on WCR but get countered by Muli though. Suschel goes for some big income in Eastern Balkans. On turn 3, every member of the ONE! team has 8 or more income, while the VS team has one player on 10 income and the rest sitting on 5. While they control the center, partially, they are getting destroyed in the islands and in Russia. They manage to get Norway and Finland though, so it's not all lost. Two turns later, Muli breaks Norway, Suschel takes over Western Balkans, the center is properly pressured and the islands are safe. ONE! wins the game. Kezzo + Platinum + Odin (Outlaws) defeat tobe + DarrenDieHard + ISNIDE (VS) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16367819Kezzo lands a combo-pick on Norway. Both Darren and INSIDE border it, but are unable to stop Kezzo from taking it. A good predict by Odin lets Outlaws break Iceland and Platinum gets a good trade in the center against tobe. tobe has taken Eastern Balkans though, so he has some income to play with. At the end of the day, Kezzo and Odin outexpand the VS team and Outlaws put on too much pressure for VS to pull the same. Masters wins the tournament! A big congratulations to them, as Europe 3v3 is a superstacked tournament!

This week's scoreboard looks as follows: So, let us discuss. Grab a glass of red wine, eat a cheese-cracker and read with me, out loud.
- Outlaws go 4-2 this week, tightening the the third spot closer to them. They win an astounding 17 points and lose only 10 max points. An amazing week for Outlaws, ONE! might say.
- Masters go 4-3 this week, winning a solid 18 points, but losing 12 max points too. This is important for the battle for the title and we'll see how this impacts them and lynx.
- Lynx goes 3-2, ending in the positives as well. They win 14 points and lose 9 max points.
- ONE goes 3-4, getting the first negative net score this week. With 14 points won, but 15 max points lost, they need to step up their game if they are to challenge outlaws for that sacred podium spot.
- MHunters again go for an even-stevens week, going 1-1. They lose a 2v2 and win a 1v1, resulting in a net score of -1.
- GG continues its rather disappointing performance. Where's plat when you need him. They go 1-2, resulting in 3 points gained and 7 max points lost.
- VS wins some games, yet finds itself in the last spot once more. They go 2-4 and gain 7 points. They lose 19 though. Ouch. Eh, guess they're already relegated, so whatevs.
The battle for goldLynx and Masters are fighting it out at the top. With Masters having 146 points and Lynx 142, it might seem like Masters are in the lead. However, Masters have only 5 games to play and 20 points to win, while Lynx has 6 games to play and 26 points to win. Lynx' max points is slightly higher (+2) so they better win some and keep the updates interesting. These are the games that have yet to finish for the top contenders: (note there are duplicates in the head-to-heads)

Two head-to-head games are key for determining the victory here. So 90, Juan, Rento, Timon, MoD, Xeno and Timi: the pressure's on you guys. It looks like Lynx has an easier path to victory than masters, having to play the bottom of the division mostly. Masters play against Lynx, ONE, Outlaws and GG, which is considerably harder. It remains interesting until the bitter end. Note: according to Xenophon and master of desaster, Masters will win all their remaining games. Xenophon also added that Lynx sucks. Unfortunately, Slammy was unavailable for further comments. According to AWESOMEGUY, old ladies are just fine. Personally, I root for VS. Don't stop believing. The battle for BronzeOutlaws have a good week and they're holding on tight to their third spot. The challenger, ONE!, is playing it slow and steady though. Outlaws has 9 points more, but are 4 max-points behind. Stop stalling, Beren. Complete some games. If ONE! pulls a stunt and wins all their remaining games, they'll be victorious over Outlaws, leading to an interesting third place. So FiveStar better stop booting. The battle for AWith M'Hunters and GG at equal points, the fight for relegation goes on. M'Hunters has 5 more max-points, so they're leading, but it's nowhere near over. I suspect that we know the end of at least one battle by next week's update. Stay tuned and stay classy.
