Okay I've been lurking around the forum recently, really ever since my joke post (first post ever as well) for Fizzer brought an onslaught of hate tbh. So here I am again, posting. This time I really just wanna say that quite frankly I'm disgusted by some of the people on the forum (I will not name). The superiority complexes, the capacity to be judgemental, the sexism, the list goes on. There are several posts that have been made in the course of the last two months and just reading what is in them, the sheer disrespect I see... It really makes me sad. There seems to be this idea that if you have come out at the top on the 1v1 ladder, or are a long-term poster in the forums then that immediately grants gives you the God-given right better than other people.

There has been a lot of discrimination against new posters as well, possibly to deter them(?). To enforce the idea that the forum is for a select few. This is coming from a forum newcomer as well. Its not exactly like my opinion will have much influence, as my clan and everyone in it are condemned as Nazis (when really I expect people who play a strategy game to have a bit more scope to refine their point of view), however I don't remember when it was alright to be an all-out arse to someone for just even commenting. It appears to me that when behind a computer screen, it suddenly becomes okay to reject morals and become a morbid character that is a self proclaimed god within the realms of a browser based game. Its pathetic.

Plausible google results do not apply to warlight forums. Searching the actual forum might help though.

I will avoid posting a "this is sparta" picture at this point not to confuse you any further.

All the long term posters get shit. X especially. Poor us. People should get told that theyre posting garbage, especially when they are. The forum is for the select few who have something insightful to say, a tentative welcome to the club. You never saw anyone give frankdeslimste or ps or chaos disrespect, they dont post much and they dont tear up the ladder and everyone is alright to them. People make friends with other people they chat with in the forum and meet up IRL. We are nice to each other.

I don't mean to generalise on the forums, however some people I have seen can be real bits of work. You two aren't actually two I had in mind in all honesty. But is it worth believing that? Because even if it was you, I wouldn't say. This post is more a point about Warlight that I think is the area that needs improvement the most - people's attitudes. If it is really wrong to withhold information to protect other people as my opinion could be misinformed that which could lead to escalation then I am in the wrong. Too, I don't think it is wrong that I want there to be more respect for others on the forums. That is all.

The forum is not just for a select few though. I think that if someone partakes in Warlight, they have just as much a right as others to have a say on it, and then not to be gunned down by others.
