apex, turtles, French, blitz, masters all examples for this.

Adding Blitz to this list is pointless and you should know it yourself since you were one of the players that actually were discussing about this internally and I think all of us agreed at that time that with the general inactivity from us as leaders, we decided to drop out of CL, and not something like lacking depth as a clan like you implied in that statement.

Also if I recall correctly the same thing happened with Turtles for the general activity and like Beren stated in his message it was the same for Apex as well.

You're right, I'm not a true Blitz! I'm a true Turtle. Waaaaay back in the day, The Icela dic Turtles were super jealous of Blitz's clan icon because its a Turtle.... To mask our jealousy we became extremely prideful of the Icelandic Flag and that aspect of our name. Blitz was gracious to let an old turtle like myself bear this turtle tag.



In all seriousness though, Turtles is just fine not competing. For the league to make clans feel obligated to keep playing is messed up. Similarly to Apex, (not the same success) we were super selective and as such we kept ourselves small. We had unanimous decisions for new members until the end when we were supposed to be "desparate". Those members didnt end up being that healthy for us and eventually moved on. We all pretty much together chose to slow down and retire. We all keep in touch through discord. Buns, Nack, Turkish, and I all play the occasional game but we are content with the legacy of Turtles and dont see the nescessity of competing in clan league again.

I liked Turtles, very nice group of players. Pity ye guys didn't recruit a bit more, ye would've easily stayed alive and challenged for win in CL, if you got next generation players like Rufus or Malakkan for e.g.

Side bar because I am confused. I see a lot of the old Master's clan joined Blitz, is the masters dying out or why the mass exodus to Blitz? Maybe Blitz is just the new masters?
